Grilled chicken breast, served with steamed Jersey Royal new potatoes and asparagus in a cheese and chive sauce, and browned under the grill served with steamed carrot and celery.

We had potluck at church yesterday for lunch. Last night we took leftover roast and made hash. Good stuff.

Leftover homemade spaghetti, garlic bread and salad wedge. It's not supper time yet, but we're looking forward to it.

Tonight we're having fish, potatoes, and salad. Found this DELICIOUS blue cheese dressing that I could almost drink! But I don't - I save it for my salad.

If you can almost "drink" it, it is too watery.  I like blue cheese dressing you have to pound on the bottle to get it out, and please don't tell me you "fried" the fish.

LOL - no, it's not because it's thin that I can almost drink it. It's just that delicious!  And, no. The fish was not fried. We baked it.

I am from Gloucester Mass. The oldest fishing community in the US. Fish was created to be fried. No lemon should ever touch it.

My favourite fish dish is poisson a la Bordelaise. Lots of lemon on that .  Google it and you should be able to get a translation, or you might find it frozen in your supermarket.

Baked is good, if you do it right. As is fried.   We're eclectic that way.
