Thomas Cooper? Are you talking about the esteemed Grand Reverend Thomas Cooper?

You know, the minute someone refers to any man in terms like these is the precise moment I know they do not have Biblical outlook on things.

Before Jesus, not applicable!  Glory!

Like this was before Jesus?

-True Christian families are to shun physicians and "medicine" and to trust in Jesus to heal them and keep them heathly, as per 2 Chronicles 16:12-13.

Do you ever read the Christian (KJV) Bible?  Works come FROM faith!  And we are to judge all by their works.  Those are works of the unSaved, thus the heathen in your presentation there is not a true Christian.

Glory!

Dixon

Not anymore, all those thees and thous, I just pray and do as my heart leads me because Jesus loves me.  As for works, I work my tail off!  I have a house, cabin, condo for trysts, put my kids and 2 ex-wives through college, got a boat, helicopter and belong to a flying club where I get to rent planes on the cheap.  The Lord would be proud of my works, he sees all the stuff I've acquired.

So if you say I'm not saved when I trusted Christ twice, what went wrong?

And which Cathlic church you belong to, dear?

DeaconDixon is in a church with ONE member. Even if that set of doctrines were fully provable from clear Scripture statements, as some are, they comprise statements that repentant sinners who trust in Jesus for their salvation may never hear of in a lifetime.  The implication is that Dixon & his disciples are the only true Christians.

Unfortunately, there are some within IFB and conservative Christianity in general, who take a similar position. They are quick to say they are "true Christians" while denouncing other brothers/sisters in Christ. This is often done among ourselves, with one Fundamentalist "camp" claiming the title of "true Christians" while saying those in another Fundamentalist "camp" are "lesser Christians".

This actually weakens us more than tiny groups which claim they are "true Christians" and everyone else isn't.

Now that's the question I asked you in your welcome thread.  In this one I asked you what then I did wrong because you say I'm not saved.  You have not answered either question posed to you sir.

There are hundreds of thousands of true Christians out there, possibly even millions!  And each and every one of them has heard of each and every one of the above statements.  Each and every one of those can be found within our Christian Bible, KJV 1611.  Praise!
