I listen to FBN Radio the majority of the time; however, I recently found this internet station called Abiding Radio. It can be listened to online and on smart devices. You can choose to listen to different streams...instrumental, Sacred (singing), Kids, or Seasonal. You can also listen to it from their website or have it play on your media player. Edited to add...this is a music only station. http://www.abidingradio.org/listen/

We had two great old hymns today, Sinners Jesus will receive; Sound this word of grace to all Who the heavenly pathway leave, All who linger, all who fall. This can bring them back again Christ receiveth sinful men. Refrain Sing it o’er and over again; Christ receiveth sinful men; Make the message clear and plain: Christ receiveth sinful men. Shepherds seek their wandering sheep, O'er the mountains bleak and cold, Jesus such a watch doth keep O'er the lost ones of his fold, Seeking them o'er moor and fen, Christ receiveth sinful men. Refrain Sick and sorrowful and blind I with all my sins draw nigh; O my Saviour thou canst find Help for sinners …

http://www.wayoflife.org/database/sacred_music_sources.html The philosophy of music is changing rapidly among fundamental Baptist and other fundamentalist churches. It is becoming popular to “adapt” contemporary praise songs by selecting ones with Scriptural lyrics and toning down the rhythm. This is being done by Majesty Music, Soundforth, Bob Jones University and its president Steve Pettit, and West Coast Baptist College, for example. They excuse the practice in various ways, such as likening the use of contemporary praise to the use of a Lutheran or Methodist hymn, but it is a different thing altogether. While I have never heard of a fundamental Baptist church becoming…

I posted a new Hymn Video at YouTube of the Hallelujah Chorus. Any theological qualms? Hallelujah! For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. And He shall reign forever and ever. The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our God, and of His Christ. King of kings and Lord of lords. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!!! God bless all, and a happy Easter always to Easter people-- Chris R.

God Made Music God is the great Maker and creator of music. His LOVE has caused my ears to hear much more beautiful music than what man could ever think of making. Have you ever heard a songbird whistling or tweeting or warbling off key? Nay, but tis nary a bird that does not sing without the purity and tone that is "right on pitch". Have you wondered about the sound of tiny minute little seeds and flower petals being carried about by a soft and gently blowing breeze? How about the sound of trees that are "clapping their hands" and the volume of "the mountains and the hills [that] shall break forth into singing"? Consider what it surely must be like for someone that is de…

LO! He comes with clouds descending, once for favoured sinners slain; thousand thousand saints attending swell the triumph of His train: Hallelujah! God appears on earth to reign. *2 Every eye shall now behold Him robed in dreadful majesty; those who set at nought and sold Him, pierced and nailed Him to the tree, deeply wailing, shall the true Messiah see. *3 Every island, sea, and mountain, heaven and earth, shall flee away; all who hate Him must, confounded, hear the trump proclaim the day; come to judgment! come to judgment! come away! 4 Now redemption, long expected, see in solemn pomp appear! All His saints, by man rejected, now shall meet Him in the air: Halle…
