NOBody here has ever given you a negative rating, so that puts you on the same level as the rest of us then, that is even though you continue to put them down. To me that shows about the love our membership has toward others.

Typically, I would agree, public opinion polls is all that reputation points usually are. Skewed public opinion polls at that since people will rarely leave negative reputation since they don't want to make enemies. On this site people don't use this feature very much compared to other boards so I would venture to say that most people could care less about the reputation level. If the board administrator has only 7 reputation that shows you it is a very under used feature.

And your right, prOBably leaving a negative one who make enemies, that's easily done without doing that.

Maybe it's different for people here that may know one another in person. Otherwise, I think being able to really express yourself in all honesty overrides the desire for "reputation points" but that could just be me because this is where I feel safe to express myself...not in real life...live...too many consequences!
