Hello, Im Jason from Arizona and I am new to this board. I am a former non-denom fun center Christian and have been IFB since April 2015. So far Im liking what Im reading here, and its a relief to read the thoughts and opinions of like minded believers. Saved and Baptized at around 12 yrs in a local baptist church inspite of my Catholic family. Did the repent of your sins Pentecostal thing as a teenager and did the backsliding thing in the military. Married with kids and made my way through multiple rock n roll fun centers before finding my roots again in a solid IFB church.

Hi all, Im David Jay Jordan, a so called newbie HERE at least to the FORUM. I call myself a Baptist because I was baptized in a local Baptist Church in Spokane Washington. at 12 years old. Im 70 something now, and still going for the Lord as an independant Baptist, you might say... as our ministry is to all kinds of people. Married, five children, had only one wife, shes a winner and has taught me innumerable things because of her heritage in the 3rd world, and we have experienced soooo much because we were independant and non denominational. No support from any church or family (they were basically atheists) I was quite the athlete growing up and reached …

Hi there, thank you for this forum. I was saved almost 14 yrs ago , at the age of 36 . After salvation I attened a community church where pretty much anything goes. Then 2 yrs later my husband was saved . After 3 years of attending this church we left and started attending a fellowship baptist church. We moved and started going to an IFB church. Its been 6yrs there now , but have to admit many things are still very foreign to us/me. We love it there and love everyone. I do have questions though. I have been using the search option to find some explanations, but may also ask questions on certain subjects. So thankyou for having me here.

Hello, my name is David, and posting as brand new member on this Board. My wife and I are soon to celebrate 20th anniversity, and have sons recently graduated from High School, and both of them we adopted from Russia while infants. The Lord saved me while in College, and have run the entire viewpoints within Chrsitianity, as was first in a Pentacostal church and was a teaching Elder there, then moved to Free will baptist church, and now currently on pastoral prayer team and involved in Chidren church with my Baptist Church. I am currently seeing things salvation wise from the Calvinistic/Reformed side, but all other things pretty much still baptist!

My name is Dan and I've been a Baptist all my life, other than a brief drift into Pentecostalism. Sorry ? I believe in the independence of baptist churches, but also in cooperation with other organizations in the body of Christ. Most of my views are what I would consider fundamentalist, ca 1900 The Year of Our Lord.

Hello everyone. I feel the need to re-introduce myself since I have not been around for the last 2 years. As you might imagine, a lot has changed but the biggest change would be I got married to an unbelievable woman! I was celibate for 19 years out of personal conviction because of a divorce, but with the death of my previous spouse I was released from my bonds. I met Miss. Laurel Carpenter who is a widow of Pastor Alan Carpenter. See had been a widow for 3 years. We were wed on June 24, 2016 so we are approaching our 2nd anniversary. I still live in Roseburg, OR and attend the same church I have been attending for 16 years now. I have 5 children (2 with the…

Hello everyone, I'm a refugee from the old FFF, having gone into self-exile from its vitriol about 5 years ago. I saw a link to this group on the Fundamental Baptist Forums on FB. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and have been a part of our church ministry team since 1995. My wife and I have been married for 33+ years, we have 5 children, several foster kids, and 8 grandchildren.

Hello to all in the forum, my name is James from Minnesota. I consider myself IFB and as my username suggest love my Textus Receptus and the KJV, while some would call me a KJVO i am not but definitely am TRO. But used the KJV majority of the time really also like my Webster Bible but it is use by very few but also very fond the NKJV. If anyone read my first post in a threat about who were the sons of God in Genesis 6; i am sure your thinking he can't be IFB. But i am and with that acception and my end time belief I fully agree with IFB.

- Hello; I was baptized an infant into the Roman Catholic system in 1944 and when old enough, attended Catechism where I eventually completed First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Though I kept my Catholic identity for twenty-four years, I gave up on the religion itself fairly early because it's just too hard to get to heaven that way. Ironically, though I had listened to a pretty good number of homilies in Sunday morning church, my mind never actually "heard" the gospel till it was preached to me by a Baptist minister while I was at work in a welding shop in Vancouver Washington. I was saved in a Conservative Baptist …

I am a Christian who was Baptized in a Catholic Church when I was a baby and then in my 20’s I was Baptized in my wife’s Baptist Church. I spent most of my life reading the New Testament. Then about two years ago I started reading the Old Testament just to learn what was there. To my surprise I found more than I expected. Since then I have gotten more involved concerning this topic. More specifically about the relationship between the Israelite people and God. Having said that, I am now seeking out others who have these same interests to learn their point of view.

I am elated that the Lord has given me tasks to aid the homeless and the indigent. At times, I would volunteer at food banks here in Oakland, an example would be the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB). This mainly consists of packaging food (perishables, can foods, meat, fruits, etc.). I also minister to the homeless because I was once homeless myself for over a course of 10 years, so I can understand their plight and suffering, living on the streets of Oakland and San Francisco. San Francisco is a hot spot for homosexuality, it is almost like a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, and ministering to them is an arduous task because sometimes preaching to them can lead t…

my name is Prince Lokendo, I am a baptist member ever since i was a little boy and i am based in Dzaleka refugee camp here in malawi. for many years our church has been healing many peoples souls and giving hope to the hopeless refugees from Rwanda, D.R.C Congo, Burundi and Somalis. Being the youth Representative in our church, i found it to be the most profound thing to do because i love Jesus and I believe that my life would be nothing without his intervention. It is very difficult to run youth association in our church that is why i ask for your intervention

Hi all, I`m from the land of Oz, (Australia) and look forward to getting to know you and share what we know of our precious Lord and His purposes. I was a school teacher and now live on a farm with my husband, although semi-retired, there is always something to do. I found this site through a link from another forum and thought some of the discussions looked interesting. God bless, Marilyn.

I was raised in an SBC church in the 1960's -70's, but quickly drifted far afield. Several years ago I became interested in Reformed Theology as an intellectual exercise. I thought I was humoring my wife recently when she suggested we attend church. The sermon was perfectly timed, and I was absolutely convicted! Starting my journey with Christ at age 64.

Hi, my name is Brian Smedley and I want to say without Christ I am nothing . Through the Lord Jesus Christ do I have righteousness, not my righteousness, but his. I am presented to God through Jesus blood that flowed at Calvary for my sins and all of mankind's. John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him would not perish, but have everlasting life.
