Hello all. My name is Robert Reynolds. I am an independent, dispensational, King James Bible believing, Baptist missionary in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. My family and I have been in the Philippines, as of next month, for eight years. If you all do not mind, please pray for, me, my family and the ministry that the Lord has entrusted us with, that he will use us mightily for his glory, to reach the Filipino people. Thank you all so much. God bless you all.

Hello. My name is Michael. I noticed this forum uses the KJV so I signed up. The last forum I visited really hated the KJV and so I didn't fit in. ☹️

As an unsaved kid contemplating my future I often thought about religion and heaven. I knew that I wanted to go there, but I just didn't know how. I was not satisfied with the trappings of the Catholic church. It did not make sense to me that I could sin like the devil all week long and go talk to a priest behind a shade and recite a couple of prayers by rote and somehow I was set. I started to hear snippets of opinions about being good enough to go to heaven. I'd make a personal commitment to do right and within an hour I found myself back to where I was before I made the commitment. I said, "Heck, this is impossible! There is no way that I'll ever be good enough!" …

I was on here a few years ago and learned a lot! I had trouble for many years getting OB software to work on my laptops and just gave up. Now I don’t have a working computer but am using my iPhone to access OB. Hopefully, I won’t have anymore problems. Looking forward to catching up with users I remember and meeting new ones. I’m no longer a “miss” but a “mrs” happily since 2016!

I'm a "church music director" sort of. There is no title for the position in which I lead congregational singing, direct our choir, direct our orchestra and teach an Adult Sunday School class. I teach instrumental music in a Christian school. I have a Master of Sacred Music degree with a choral conducting emphasis and studied instrumental conducting at a state university. I graduated from a Baptist college and went into the ministry of church music youth pastor and Christian school teacher teaching band and choir. My wife is a very good pianist.

Just now getting started. My profile picture is a combination of the somber colors of Law Enforcement and the Confederate battle flag, representing Southern Law Enforcement. I am not a law enforcement officer, never have been. I've worked in private sector police work. I've known only two Christian police officers in my lifetime, one of whom was college instructor. I'm living in Iowa, but my heart is in Dixie.

Ten years, two months, and seven days ago I joined Online Baptist (OB). Many were here before me, many have left the site, and many have since joined. OB has always been a great place to fellowship with other like minded believers and continues to be so today. This is a refreshing place to come and just read the remarks of others or comment as the Lord leads. All in all each of you have helped me to grow in my walk with the Lord. I look forward to continuing visits here until the Lord says otherwise. Thanks Matt for a great environment for IFB and IB alike.

I was saved at the tender age of 6 in a Southern Baptist church ministry in Hawaii (dad was a military man). At the time my parents weren't really church going people, and during the summer the church had a program where neighbor kids would meet at different members' homes for Bible studies and games. One of the weeks a missionary (I can't remember where he served) spoke at the Bible study. At the end he asked if anyone wanted to accept Christ's offer of salvation, and I did! After that I started going to church with the neighbor, and when I'd get home I would ask my mom questions about the Bible that she couldn't answer. This went on for a few months until she finally de…

Okay, so I'm seeing that new members are to introduce themselves. I apologize for being tardy in this respect; I wasn't sure where and how to do this. Hello, everyone! I'm obviously new here and its nice to meet all of you. I'm a concerned loved one and while searching for answers on possible new safety protocols being put into place in IFB churches, I stumbled across this forum. I was saved in an Independent Fundamental Baptist church when I was seven. My parents, good people, served years as deacon and Sunday School teachers. I'm from a small, rural town church in the Southeast part of the US.(Is it required I give my state here? I will if need be, but don't necess…

Hi! As people are requiring an introduction post here it is. New to the IFB (that’s why I’m here, to learn more). Married, no children, love dogs. From the southern part of the US. That’s all I’m going to share online. It’s not safe to give out personal info. Telling someone what church I attend narrows it down to what, 100 members to look though? Telling you my “associates” is as simple as a google search to find them. If someone on here has bad intentions, I do not want to be the one who gets hurt. Sorry, but my safety is my priority. I assume you all understand. We do not live in a safe world. I would like to say though, I am mildly concerned as…

Looking for a place that believes God's word, and studies and lives it, as Jesus lived it. I've been to quite a few forums, most of whom 's 'leadership' doubt the Bible in what it plainly says, and question even the most plainest statements and yet they proclaim themselves 'Christians' an to be able to teach and 'moderate', yet are unwilling to openly defend what they believe in forum discussion. I believe God's word from Alpha to Omega, First to Last, Beginning to Ending, Creation to Redemption, and it is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. About 10 years ago now, by the pleading of the Holy Spirit with my own heart, bringing upon me …

Hello, Im Jason from Arizona and I am new to this board. I am a former non-denom fun center Christian and have been IFB since April 2015. So far Im liking what Im reading here, and its a relief to read the thoughts and opinions of like minded believers. Saved and Baptized at around 12 yrs in a local baptist church inspite of my Catholic family. Did the repent of your sins Pentecostal thing as a teenager and did the backsliding thing in the military. Married with kids and made my way through multiple rock n roll fun centers before finding my roots again in a solid IFB church.

Hi all, Im David Jay Jordan, a so called newbie HERE at least to the FORUM. I call myself a Baptist because I was baptized in a local Baptist Church in Spokane Washington. at 12 years old. Im 70 something now, and still going for the Lord as an independant Baptist, you might say... as our ministry is to all kinds of people. Married, five children, had only one wife, shes a winner and has taught me innumerable things because of her heritage in the 3rd world, and we have experienced soooo much because we were independant and non denominational. No support from any church or family (they were basically atheists) I was quite the athlete growing up and reached …
