What a Fathers Day for me! I became a new grandfather early this morning. Gabriel Aleksander was born at 3:19 a.m., about six weeks early. He weighed in at 4 lbs. 15 oz., and 18 inches long. But everything is fine for both my daughter and grandson (I guess the son-in-law is OK too, but that's another story.)

Now, I get to practice what my mother did to my kids -- spoil them!
