I have a couple of prayer requests that I would like to bring forth. I don't usually make prayer requests on public forums, but, there are times I feel that I should. My wife and I had our attorney file a lawsuit against a contractor who took a deposit for materials back in January, and who has never performed the work he was contracted to do. The man claims to be a Christian, as does his brother, who has been in contact with our attorney over the past several months over this issue. We have a September 6th court date in Civil Court in Coffee County, Tennessee. We have tried our best to be Christian about this situation, but, we believe that there are times when it's…

I know many will still make mockery because of me and my situation once more. Alot of people here don't know me, but have a very negative impression of me. I have not post here for day because of the fear of people's reactions. Today I came across a song. It seems it is a very old song. It is my first time listening to it and please kindly permit me to share. It actually soften my heart and release me of some pain. THE OLD RUGGED CROSS On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross The emblem of suffering and shame And I love that old cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain So I'll cherish the old rugged cross (rugged cros…

“How long, O Lord? Will you utterly forget me? I am at the end of my rope, and I cannot hold on much longer. Why hide in times of distress?”

I cannot explain exactly the feeling, the pain, the heartache and the situation i am in. I still believe in my Savior, my refuge and strength, my present help in trouble. In Psalm 46:10. He said I should be still and know that he is God. My whole world is turned upside down. The ground shakes under my feet. My frantic efforts have fail me. I bow to God. I have not just bow to him buy trying to know him further. I knew him and he gave me hope, hope for a better future, hope of good health, home for eternal life. When life failed, I trutes him more knowing he was God. I said to myself that as Jacob had him as his covenant God, so do i. As the mighty man of war, t…

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You. The work of the saints cannot bring glory to themselves, but to Our Heavenly Father. We manifest His Name to the world. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. 1 John 2:10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. John 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. …

My 6 month old great nephew was diagnosed with c*vid last night. His fever was 103.3 AFTER Tylenol. He was throwing up in his sleep last night also. Fever seems to have broken for now and he is sleeping well. Please pray that God will touch his little body and heal him. AND that God will reach his mom and dad through this. His name is Otto. And he's a precious wee one. Thanks in advance.

My wife had her nuclear stress test Friday, and it didn't go well. I had my yearly with our cardiologist yesterday, and he put me on new medication. I don't have to undergo any surgical procedures yet, thank the good Lord. But, the doctor did discuss my wife's test results. They show that she may have several blockages. So she's now scheduled for an arteriogram on February 20th. They'll see if she needs stents or bypass surgery. This has been a very trying time for.my wife and I over the past year. We've both had to undergo extensive testing leaving us with quite a bit of debt, even with insurance paying their parts. We are seriously praying about whether or not we …

Pray for my journey. I don't know the road but I have to start going in 24hours. I will die trying to cross the Mediterranean sea to the other side of the world. I rather die trying to bake bread that sit here and die. Since the 11th, I have not had anything to eat. Hunger pierces in me like the bites of a crab. Maybe on my way, I will find what to eat and continue my journey. I believe is Isaiah 43:2.

Come, ye sinners, lost and hopeless Jesus' blood can make you free For He saved the worst among you When He saved a wretch like me And I know, yes, I know Jesus' blood can make the vilest sinner clean And I know, yes, I know Jesus' blood can make the vilest sinner clean To the faint He giveth power Through the mountains makes a way Findeth water in the desert Turns the night to golden day In temptation He is near thee Holds the pow'rs of hell at bay Guides you to the path of safety Gives you grace for ev'ry day He will keep thee while the Ages Roll throughout eternity Though earth hinders and hell rages All must work for good to thee Father make wa…

My days are numbered. I will rather die for christ and live forever happy. If christ was crucified. Whom am I to complain in suffering? I have the impression the saints are all gone home. We are all living the great tribulation. Beloved, the pain is too much. Pray that the lord help me. I stand with Isaiah 43:2 It baffles me to see how the world is praying and fellowships with Christians in Isreal. It has. been 8 years of terror, pains, hunger and homelessness in Cameroon. My prayer has been that God should take me home to rest but he keeps postponing my stay in the wicked world VID-20240211-WA0056.mp4

If what we are going through is because of our sins, the sins of our fathers and our forefathers. Let the mercy of God triumph over judgment. In Exodus 25 when God asked Moses to construct the Ark, he said " put inside the, the law and put beside the law, the rod that those who break the law, the rod will be use on them. He said onto of the ark, put a mercy seat, sitting on the law with two cherubim facing each other with the hands of prayers with ther wings spread over the mercy seat. I am sitting on the mercy sit with the hands of prayer. May the lord have mercy on me and give me manners. Worms are running in my stomach.

So once again, sickness has made its way through our church. Son and hubs are pretty much over it, I am still really struggling, one of the men has pneumonia, other members have other issues - all respiratory. Second month in a row. I have a respiratory thing going on, as well as having recovered from a third onslaught of another infection (third in 4 months). I've missed church all of last week. The way I'm feeling right now I'll be missing Sunday as well. Please pray for me and for our church. This cold snap along with the sickness has really been not good. Thanks.

This has been a week full of care for our family. It seems that sickness has been such a hard hitter . It's at this time where I know that the power of prayer is most important in the Christian Life. So I am laying these requests out for prayer knowing that people here will pray. The first prayer request is for my wife Vivian. Last week she had an appointment with my cardiologist to get clearance for surgery on her knee. They ran an EKG on her and found that she may have several blockages in her heart. They cleared her for surgery if she wanted to have the surgery on her knee first, but put the proposal before her to have an echocardiogram and a stress test before s…

Please be in prayer for our church's annual Christmas program where we serve the Indonesian community. This year we will have the service on December 17th. We are learning a song in Indonesian and are preparing for a large crowd of adults and children. The pastor and some church members have built up a good reputation with the Indonesian community over the years and some came to the church barbeque back in September. Also please pray for us as we try to find more ways to minister to them throughout the year. For a bit of background, here in Taiwan, many people from poorer Asian countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, etc. come to Taiwan to work and send m…

Please pray for the Rinehart family. Mr. M. Rinehart went to be with the Lord today. It was not unexpected, but there is still grief. The three Rinehart children (now grown and with grown children of their own) attended college in IN and that is how we met them. The daughter, Jennifer, married one of my former students, Dan Armacost, who became dean of the college. Last spring Dan and Jennifer went into full time deputation for the field of Myanmar. It looks like they will be heading to Myanmar this spring! Please lift the family in prayer as they walk this new path.

I am here once again to ask for prayers for both my wife and myself. We went to the Orthopedic surgeon on Monday morning. After X-rays on her knee, and then my shoulder we were told that Vivian has a torn meniscus and needs an MRI, and possibly surgery. I have something called "frozen shoulder." I have been referred to Benchmark Physical therapy. I was told that I also may have to have surgery. It seems that we have been being hit right and left with physical challenges this past 18 months, but, we know the Great Physician. We would appreciate your prayers as we walk through this valley. Thanks in advance. BT

On Sunday Typhoon Haikui, a category 3 typhoon, hit Taiwan. This is the first typhoon to directly impact Taiwan in four years, and it has caused quite a bit of damage. The path of the storm went directly over the little village my parents used to live, and I currently live about 30 minutes south, so we got the brunt of the storm. Several praises: I'm fine and my house wasn't damaged too badly, the tiles from a neighbors house did some damage to my overhang and there is a leak in one of the bedrooms, but otherwise that's it. The pastor I'm working under, Pastor Pan and his wife Deana are living in the house my parents used to own. The house is fine (although without p…

It seems like when it rains, it pours...we had sad news this past weekend. Our niece in Pittsburgh received a visit from the Pittsburgh Police department on Sunday morning. Her ex was killed in a motorcycle accident, and another man was severely injured. Our ex nephew in law died at the scene. There was no alcohol involved on his part, and toxicology hasn't been released yet on the other man. My niece has remarried and their daughter uses the new husbands last name... she's only 10...but, she's taking her father's death exceptionally hard. He was not saved. So, it's doubly sad all around. My niece and her family are not saved either. We've been praying that this, combined…

My niece had her beautiful baby boy yesterday, after a very hard labor and having to be induced. Leaving out the gory details, it took them 4 minutes to get him breathing on his own. This morning they were very concerned about his low oxygen. This hospital does not have a NICU, so they have airlifted him to University of Washington Hospital in Seattle. PLEASE pray for my grand nephew. And please pray that each person involved will allow God to do the work in their lives that He wants to (salvation for several of them). Thank you from the bottom of my weeping heart.

Brother Jim's surgery is complete. I will post updates here as I get them from his wife. Please be sure to pray for her as well. First - "I am beyond exhausted, but I know many are waiting to hear how Jim's surgery went. The surgery went very well. They ended up doing a quadruple bypass. The Doctor said his heart was like brand new in how it functions now ? - However, the last I heard he hasn't woke up. They did a CT scan to see if there was anything wrong that would keep him from waking up. But they said they didn't know how long it would be before the doctor would read them and get back to me. So, I chose to go home because we have a dog that needs take…
