About a year ago I had posted a subject looking for a radio tower. Since then our church has gotten our radio station up and going and we have already seen results from just 3 weeks of broadcasting. O that men would praise the Lord for his goodness!!!!

The crowds have been huge for the tent revival. This area is so small three counties are involved in the revival. So far about 60 people have been saved. One night there was over 1400 and another night there was 1600. For such a small area that is unheard of. It takes lost people to attend to get numbers that high because we are very rural counties. I requested prayer for my son a couple days ago as he was facing a very daunting event in his life. He started karate a little over four years ago. We put him in karate because he was very socially backward and lacked self-confidence. He had a rough start (for about a year he ran away from his sparring partners instead of actually fighting) but gradually he ran less and less. About a year and a half after starting a new guy was brought into our dojo to teach. The previous teacher had taken a new job and was no longer available on class nights. I plan to give my testimony sometime when I can figure out how to whittle it down to keep it from being too long. This is about a non mistakable act of God that I witnessed in my life once. Went to the mountains today with some friends to go skiing before the seasons over. On the way back, we just left the mountains, when my friend's new truck started having transmission problems and wouldn't shift out of first gear. The vehicle was under warranty, but that free towing would only take it as far as the nearest dealership – and we were 400 km. from home, with four people and a box full of ski gear. I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
