about 50... when I'm typing what I want, I faster, thats about what I type when I have to copy something (like on a typing test)

Maxed out I type at about 120 wpm, but my brain doesn't always go that fast... accuracy... :ooops I don't think that I'll tell you...

Average speed is between 50 wpm and 80 wpm.

The point with wpm is when you are... ohhh, what's the word... you know, when you are being dictated to or when you are re-typing another document--then it really comes in handy.

When you are typing down your brain...

When I did data entry work all those years ago I could really fly when it came to typing the numbers.

It's just the way some people talk really fast that I can't understand... girls generally talk much faster than boys as far as I'm concerned... when they talk fast in an ultrasonic pitch, then I just smile and nod.

If you look at my posts you can figure out pretty quickly which ones were were "right" and which ones were "fast"!

I can go pretty fast, but then I usually have to go back and fix it - Right now there is so much "white-out" on my screen that I can hardly see! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't know now. When I took my typing test in the Air Force many years ago I was at 59 wpm on a typewriter.

It rightly does not matter how fast I type, but I type fast enough that I'm able to make post on this board, a couple of football boards, and my air force board and make a few mistakes.

So far I have not come across none of you that type so fast that I can't read your post, except when you forget to spell check.
