Guys I just wanted to share this with all of you pastors you can set up this course at your own church if God leads, Our church has and I believe it is a wonderful study of the bible from cover to cover, it takes three years, but is well worth it. Some of you may already be aware of it.

A book they offer through this course is: Willmington's Guide to the Bible. I am not familiar with this course - but I have read about 1/3 of that book, and it is very helpful and useful. It's one I would like to order for myself (I borrowed a copy from a friend maybe 4 or 5 years ago), but I am not sure if you can get it in a regular bookstore. I will have to look for it.

My wife is in her first semester of FBI right now and she is really enjoying it. I've watched some of the online resources that she uses to study and they are great visuals. I agree with Jerry about the Wilmington's it's a good reference.

Did Liberty University turn from the KJV ?
Not wanting to hijack the thread, but I couldn't find on its website what translation the school uses now. However, when you read the biographies of some of the staff (especially the "praise" band), the verses quoted come from the NIV. That surprises me a little bit, because I had heard the university had changed to the NKJV.

The point I was trying to make was that Dr. Harold L. Willmington is "Mr. Bible" at Liberty University. I have a copy of his "Guide through the Bible" in 1985. The verses in my edition are all KJV. Just curious if the newer editions of Willmington's book were still KJV or if he's compromised as well.
