Members Alan Posted November 12, 2020 Members Posted November 12, 2020 I was quite disappointed in Fox News and their miss-handling of the presidential election. I feel they were biased and helped Biden in the election on purpose in an effort to defeat Trump. As of now, I do not think that Fox News is a reliable news source. So, I am in the process of looking for a better, more conservative, news source. Here is one that I am thinking of listening to, "The Heritage Foundation": https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5bEfSFTYQVfLCwkhBt8NtQ Anybody else have any comments? Suggestions? Quote

A lot of ex-Fox News people have been promoting NewsMax (https://www.newsmax.com) and One America News Network (OAN) (https://www.oann.com) but I haven't looked into them yet to see what I think about them. Members SureWord Posted November 13, 2020 Members Posted November 13, 2020 (edited) If you have access to PlutoTV which is free on Roku, Firestick or Chromecast you have NewsMax, Blaze Live, America's Voice, OAN Encore and The First. All good channels. America's First gets some good Christian guests on it like recently interviewing Evangelist Tim Lee and The First has Bill O'Reilly's new show. Bouncing Bill Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Bill O'Reilly is certainly no Christian model. He is also a news commentator, not a reporter. O'Reilly's media career took a major blow after a 2017 New York Times investigation revealed that he had paid six women nearly $50 million to settle various sexual harassment lawsuits. After the first New York Times investigation revealed that O'Reilly and Fox News had settled five sexual harassment lawsuits totaling $13 million, Fox News terminated O'Reilly's employment in April 2017. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_O'Reilly_(political_commentator) Quote

By the way, Wikipedia and New York Times sure aren't "Christian models" either. Quote

Members Pastor Scott Markle Posted November 13, 2020 Members Posted November 13, 2020 Brother Alan, A suggestion might be - The Daily Signal from the Heritage Foundation. I get their newsletter in my email twice a day. Definitely conservative in perspective. (I also am not interested in any debate.) HappyChristian and Alan 2 Quote
Members SureWord Posted November 13, 2020 Members Posted November 13, 2020 (edited) You will never find a totally unbiased news site. Even the Heritage Foundation took money from Big Tech to support their censoring of conservative voices on the internet. Tucker Carlson covered this on one of his shows. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/12/tucker-carlson-was-right-heritage-foundation-and-others-have-been-taking-money-from-big-tech-as-conservative-voices-are-eliminated-from-the-internet/ One thing we can be sure of, the New York Times and Wikipedia are bias. Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 6, 2020 Administrators Posted December 6, 2020 I'm late to the party here, but I've posted in other threads that The Epoch Times is good as well. https://www.theepochtimes.com/ This is their description: "The Epoch Times is the fastest-growing independent news media in America. We are nonpartisan and dedicated to truthful reporting. We are free from the influence of any government, corporation, or political party—this is what makes us different from other media organizations. Our goal is to bring our readers accurate information so they can form their own opinions about the most significant topics of our time. We don’t follow the unhealthy trend of agenda-driven journalism prevalent in today’s media environment. Instead, we use our principles of Truth and Tradition as our guiding light. We highlight in our reporting the best of humanity, the valuable lessons of history, and traditions that are beneficial for society. The Epoch Times was founded in the United States in the year 2000 in response to communist repression and censorship in China. Our founders, Chinese-Americans who themselves had fled communism, sought to create an independent media to bring the world uncensored and truthful information. The Epoch Times has received numerous awards for our reporting and design, including from the New York Press Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Society for News Design. The Epoch Times’ media network currently covers 21 languages and 33 countries." I thought their founding info would interest you, @Alan Jim_Alaska, Alan and Pastor Scott Markle 3 Quote

There's no such thing. If any news source attempted to take a neutral position on the news they would instantly be labeled "Right Wing Extremist" by the Left. Unless they are willing to lie for the Collectivists, they are, by default, "Right Wing". HappyChristian, SureWord and Alan 3 Quote
