I don't know how soon the Lord will return, but Obama's actions towards Israel are certainly placing even more distance between America and Israel. While past presidents have been fair weather friends of Israel at best (remember even President Reagan was like this...after Israel bombed the Iraqi nuclear plant without American permission Reagan was furious, halted an arms deal with Israel and sold some of the fighter jets to Saudi Arabia).

Pro-Jewish/Israel influence in DC is on the decline too. While many Republicans still are swayed by Jewish lobby groups fewer Dems are and the Congressional Black Caucus is virtually outright anti-Jew and Israel.

Ironic how anti-Jew so many blacks and black organizations in America have become after so many American Jews were at the head of the "civil rights" movement and the black "civil rights" movement would never have achieved all they did as quick as they did without the massive Jewish support.

There is only one national leader Obama hates more than Putin, and that's the Israeli Prime Minister. It came to light that Obama sent over a quarter million dollars to fund an organization that was actively working against Benjamin while supporting the other candidate in the recent Israeli election. Amazing how quick the media let that story drop from sight!

One thing is certain, the return of Jesus is nearer now than yesterday!

For as long as I have been saved, I have been expecting the Lord’s return.....
And as I have studied Scripture about it, I have always questioned, where the United States would be, when the whole world turns against Israel? Seeing as the LORD is the one that is going to be the one to defend Her.....
Then came Obama, with his actions of TODAY, that is putting an end of Israel being our close Allie!!

Normally this would be looked upon as a “bad thing”; But I see it as a SIGN of the Lord’s very, very, very soon return!

Yes, we were discussing this after services this past Sunday evening.

I think it was last weekend Obama released information on the underground Israeli nuclear location. Obama was punishing Netanyahu for winning the election and giving a speech to the Senate.

I'm ready to go home. Maybe we will hear the call tonight.

I would expect the oppressed minorities of any country to sympathise with other oppressed minorities, including the Palestinians. That does not make them antisemitic or anti-Jewish.

We have to distinguish between antisemitic, anti-Jewish & anti-Zionist - as many Jews do. Being opposed to militant Zionism is NOT antisemitism.

Was Jesus being antisemitic in Mat. 23 when his forceful denunciation of the Jewish leaders? Or Stephen in Acts 7?

Jews for Justice for Palestinians (JfJfP) is an interest group based in Britain that describes itself as advocating for humanand civil rights, and economic and political freedom, for thePalestinian people. It opposes the current policy of Israeltowards the Palestinian territories, particularly the occupied territories of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and seeks a change in their political status. The membership of JfJfP is primarily made up of British Jews.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Once again....

The "palestinians" are NOT OPPRESSED BY THE JEWS but by the surrounding Islamic nations.

No matter what links you put up to anti-israelie groups, it still does not change the truth of the matter.

Israel is the only nation in the region where real democracy is available to all citizens, and those people in the refugee camps are there because the Islamic nations ignore the commands of the Quran for political reasons.

And, because it suits your theology, you swallow their lies..... and repeat them here......

There are some peaceful "Palestinians" living well and good among the Jews, with good relations even, in Israel. Then there are those "Palestinians" who have chosen to huddle together in Gaza or the West Bank and elect terrorists as their leaders. Those "Palestinians" have chose this bad course of action and the consequences they face are of their own doing.

The nations these falsely called "Palestinians" are from could open their doors to them but they refuse. They do this for the express purpose of placing pressure upon Israel and creating a bad climate for the "Palestinians" knowing this will breed terrorists that will attack Israel.

American blacks are not showing affinity with the "Palestinians", they are simply anti-Jew. This is a matter a few more conservative blacks have tried to figure out, and it seems to come down to the same reason in some areas blacks hate Koreans. In some cities it's mostly Jews who take the risk of opening businesses in or near black neighborhoods, the same for Koreans in other cities, and the blacks take offense to non-blacks owning businesses in or near black communities.

Israel has given "land for peace" on several occasions and made many other concessions even while providing many services and benefits to the "Palestinians" and what they have received in return is double crosses, broken agreements, more and continued terrorism.

Your link was to a British-based group...not an Israel-based one. There may be some Jews in Israel who favor giving up some of the land God gave them, but not many.

Point of fact: "Palestinians" have been offered land many times. And they have refused. Why? Because they want ALL of Israel,  with the Jews dead...a feeling shared by surrounding Arab nations. Funny thing is, no Arab nation will accept the Palestinians.  Hmmm. And yet Israel is accused of oppressing them because they do not kowtow.

Do not make this an Israel-bashing thread. Period.

The Palestinians did not huddle together, but were and are kept in camps by the Arab countries..  They did not want them in their countries.  The Jews who were expelled from Arab countries who were more in number than displaced so called Palestinians were welcomed into Israel.
