Online Baptist is please to announce a new site http://www.onlinebaptistladies.com. This new site for IFB ladies is not to take them away from here (Online Baptist) but rather in the long run I believe it will bring more likeminded members right here at Online Baptist. Right now OBL is running off a separate database than OB so separate registration is required but in the near future I will be joining the two databases together to integrate the two sites together. I thought I would update you all on what we have planned for Online Baptist in the future. Besides all the bug fixes and cosmetic changes we are working on, we plan on adding the following to Online Baptist. Everything will be integrated into the current message boards so you will only have one user name and password for all of Online Baptist. I also will be looking for some developmental/technical team members for Online Baptist. These members must have a basic knowledge of php, Mysql and HTML. Anybody else enjoy traveling? I love taking road trips. I've been to something like 28 states and to Niagara Falls, Canada. I hope to drive to every state one day (except Hawaii of course). It would also enjoy seeing Italy and Spain, but that might be out of my league.

...the top of Online Baptist where you should see a link to phpAV. We have been using Brother Carlton's Bible software on this site, folks must like it because it gets alot of traffic. Brother Carlton is now offering webmasters the opportunity to add the HTML code to their websites so that you can offer the same service with out installing a script. What are you all up to this summer? Great to be off of school for a few months! I'm working as an intern, doing web-application development at a local company. I've been able to get a lot more involved in church because I don't have homework, projects, and tests driving me up the wall all the time. :smile It's nice.

I am 60 as of 12/13/06. I was saved at three. I asked my male parent ( dad) to explain the meaning of sin, what is sin, and he compared sin to lusting after another kids milk bottle, for instance. He put the concept down low on the shelf where i could "get it" with the help of The Spirit of truth, which had already filled me with its fullness upon my belief. Simple enough...Before clicking this topic, had you heard of the "flying spaghetti monster"? I'm working on a tract with the Flying Spaghetti Monster on the cover, with Bible evidences and a Gospel message inside. Thought it'd be interesting to see how many people actually know what it is, because I don't want the tract's cover to confuse people. What do you guys think about the movie theatre? I was always taught that the main reasons Christians didn't go was because (a) it was the appearance of evil and (b) we were supporting Hollywood. But to me it seems like we could be buying pornographic DVD's from Wal-Mart as well as we could be watching a bad movie at the theatre and that we spend more money supporting Hollywood buying movies from Wal-Mart than the theatre. Your thoughts?

Does anyone else have a memory that you can't control...I just remember things really easily about people. I can remember a person's name I met years ago if you give me enough time. My one friend has 6 brothers and sisters and I remember each of them and their ages. And my hobby is trying to remember as much as I can about a person so that I can pray for them more effectually.

Hi it was suggested to me to show some of my paintings. I would like to see everyone everyones art or crafts. I wish I had a digital camera then I could show some doily's I have done. I will have to see if I can figure out how to attach them from photobucket not sure which code I use. I am going to first try the img, I am wanting to learn more trompe l'oeil and one stroke. Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
