Our toilet needs some repair work done on it, but we just don't have the time. The water supply is leaking, and we have had to put a bowl down under it to catch the drips. Lately, the drips have gotten larger or something since we can now hear it dripping into the bowl from our bedroom. Not a very peaceful sound when you are trying to go to sleep.

Well, today I found out that my sister's boyfriend has moved in with my sisters' temporarily. This kind of shocks me but in a way it does not. Both of my sisters have grown a little more liberal since they have moved out of my parents' home. I hear alot on the radio sometimes about how alot of other people would say that " I don't think alot of Baptists are going to make it to Heaven. " Just putting it out there its really frustrating to hear that. First just because Whether one is or is not a baptist does'nt nean he is or is'nt going to heaven. Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
