Hmmmm. Does anyone else find it interesting that the media is bringing this to everyone's attention? I mean, they've been carrying out their law this way forever. I'm sitting here thinking........."agenda"!

Actually I doubt that they are following the law. I believe that under Islamic law, for a person to be stoned for adultery there has to be at least two people who actually witness the adultery taking place. Of course, the evidence part of the law is practically never followed because of the difficulty of finding two witnesses. People who are committing adultery tend not to do it were other people can see.

pep - Sharia law requires 4 witnesses ( ) to adultery, or a confession by the defendant. And, according to the Koran, the punishment is supposed to be whipping, not stoning. Stoning came into popularity from the Caliph Omar. It and limb dismembermetn are supposedly only last resort punishments...

It is funny how the liberals in this country want no death penalty and to treat criminals better than christians. Then they will say we must tolerate Islam. Kind of hypocritical.
