I prefer a "home-grown" recipe that uses fresh orange peel, fresh (raw) cranberries, about a zillion tons of sugar, and a few other things for taste. Would be happy to provide the recipe. :thumb

I absolutely ove the jelly! Especially after Thanksgiving...make a turkey sandwich with mayo and cranberry jelly. Mmmm mmmm good!! But PE - your recipe sounds very similar to one my grandma used to make. I don't have it, could you share yours? Thanks.

I use the cranberry sauce in the can.... however.... we have a tradition in our family. I cut little turkeys ( using a turkey cookie cutter) out of the cranberry sauce and make a border of them around the large platter that the turkey sits on. My MIL did this and now that she is in heaven we have carried on the tradition. It makes me think of her during the time that I am cutting them out. She surley is missed.
