Reminds me of the first Bush tax rebate when he first got in office. They were telling us how much money we would be getting back but when the check finally arrived it was hardly worth cashing!

Not for us - I think ours was around $400 - not too bad, really.

Yeah, lots of people got nice checks but we didn't. I don't remember the amount but it was far less than one hundred dollars. Several other families I know didn't get much of a check either.

Amazing what attaching "Easter" to a Sunday will bring about at church!

Our church had about 150 more people attending than on a "typical" Sunday. Praise God we know they heard the Gospel!

I'm just reflecting on the goodness of God. He is just so awesome.

Also, I'm on the tail end of my homeschooling years...just two more to go...and I'm thinking it's going to be weird to not be homeschooling anymore. Life is full of changes.

I think that's because if you didn't really end up paying taxes into the system, the rebate wasn't supposed to be very big. People who got alot of tax refunds didn't get as big of a rebate.

I liked this last one we got though! We got the lower end price but with four kids it still ended up nice!

Folks I would like for you to just post whats goin on in your local area. I care not whether it is the weather, fires, crimes, celebrations, anything that we cannot debate about just a relaxed topic about our everyday lives post as often and as long as you want comment welcome, but only positive feed back towards eachother, ABSOLUTELY NO PUTTING EACH OTHER DOWN. Lets talk.

This coming week we have Revival sceduled so I'm all excited. But it get's even better!! I recieved a call from my mother this morning that a longterm family friend's oldest son will be in town working this week and would really like to get together. See He's not saved so I'm thinking maybe he'll come to Revival and recieve the Lord. This would be a blessing to me beyond anything I could have even thought of recieving!! Plus, we've been reaching out to a couple for monthas and they have now begun to attend our church!! They aren't saved yet but we have Revival this week!! Then I spoke to my son today and found out that they had a preacher come in to PCC this past week and 100 student's recieved Christ as their Lord and Saviour!! My son and a few friend's have been praying for Revival at PCC since last year. Our God is a all knowing, absolutely amazing and He loves us still!! I'm also praising Him for our weather cooling down a bit. Make's life sooo much more comfortable! Having an abundance of prOBlem's and have been completely overwhelmed to the point that I wasn't sure I could keep living like this...BUT or more so AND THEN He stared pouring out spiritual blessing in our lives just near the end of last week. He is in control alway's and I guess He's just been reminding me of that FACT!! I love you here at OB! It has been such a blessing in my life! Thank you !!! Now if I could just stop crawling down off the alter out of fear ! Please pray for me and my family ! I do pray for many of you ! His by Grace
