I can't delete you, TGL...In fact, I've not even blocked you...So, why would I if I could?

The trouble with  multiple instruments is that churches can bring someone in who is an unbeliever to fill a  vacancy.  I was in a church once that had a  brass band and they had that problem when eventually they brought in a band leader who, if he didn't like a sermon, played the next him very  loudly.  I have been in the Brethren where they had unaccompanied hymns in the morning  service.  In our church we have an organ and a man who has been playing for years wh plays the introduction very fast and in the singing it is painfully slow. I once asked him why? and he said they have their own speed of singing. I thought he should be leading not following.  We have a relatively new pastor and his eldest son is a good pianist but he has not been well for just over a year and not often well enough to play. He had to give up on his first year at university about this time last year.

Thanks, they don’t let members correct the spelling here after so many minutes. Or they don’t allowed me too. ?

Good morning, can one of you Admin. add an L to aloud on the title. My spellcheck didn’t show allowed. When posting.  Make it allowed ? Gracias

I can't see a way to do that. If someone cannot, don't worry about it. I'm not - and I'm a wonk on spelling. lol

PastorMatt got it done. But I changed the title where you had "Our" instead of "Are" in the first word. I also corrected spelling in two other posts, just minor mistakes.

We have a piano and an organ(which no one plays anymore). Occasionally I'll play guitar. We have no drums, but foot-tapping is allowed.

Follow up,
It’s has been a year now, roughly.  Have you made any adjustment to your worship service and are members still foot tapping? 😇

Nothing wrong with "foot tapping," but there is with consistently trying to stir up controversy about what other churches do or don't do. TBH, Morales, the incessant use of the "halo" emoticon doesn't make you innocent... Remember, even the adversary presents himself as an angel of light. 😉

The church we are members of have drums, and they're used on occasion. I would prefer that they not be used, especially in the hymns, but that could very well be because I was raised in a church without drums.

The only thing I like stirring is when I’m making pancakes, mixing the dough. Are you sure you’re not a security guard? 🚓

That's far from the only thing you stir. Sad, really.

We're still the same. We're too contemporary for some, and too conservative for others. We're just going to try to please God.
