New Grandpa

This morning at about 5:45 am local time, my daughter in North Carolina gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby girl. Mother and baby are doing excellent. This is my wife and I's first grand baby, and we sure are pleased and proud. I just wanted to share our blessings with you, my friends.

Thank you all! My wife and I fly out this Saturday to go spend about 2 weeks with them. My wife says I can look at the baby from across the room, but I cant hold her. Once Gramma get's her, no one else need apply. (sigh). That's just a mean ol' woman right there, but I dasn't fight her. She might whip me.

Maybe she'll be like my youngest grand son (in my avatar). He only wants either his dad or papa to hold and hug him.
