I have hidden my recently started thread.

The moderators locked it with the view that it may cause contention. I decided to honour that view and hide the thread, and now post this for those who saw or commented to know that it is my decision to hide it, not the moderators.

They have enough to deal with without being falsely accused over this (no one has yet).

The moderators are now free to do as they please in regard to that threaf without murmuring from others.

I apologise to the moderators for causing them to have to act.

This post is entirely of my own volition with no prompting from the mods by the way.

If you don't know what this is about, then you don't need to

Mods - if you feel this post is unnecessary then feel free to delete it.
