I would ask that any that feel led to please pray for my Great-niece(Gabriel) she is my oldest Niece's daughter she is just a little over 2 years old. I received a call from my Niece this morning that Gabriel was having a lot of pain from cutting 8 teeth in a row and her Father just recently deployed to Afghanistan, so she was going through a lot of separation anxiety. But when the pain didn't go away after a little while my niece took Gabriel to the Doctor and he ran some blood work and her Alkaline Phosphate levels are 4700 normal for her age would be 81, and even with an infection or inflammation from cutting teeth they still shouldn't be higher than 200. The Doctor said that the elevated levels, either indicate a bone infection or bone cancer, and because of how high they are elevated they are leaning towards cancer. She goes in today for further testing to pin down whether it is an infection or cancer. So please pray for Wisdom for the Doctors, for relief from the pain she is suffering, and please Pray for Jordan since he just deployed the military won't send him home unless it becomes life threatening. Pray for my niece (Dana) since she is without her husband for emotional and spiritual support. She lives in Oregon near her Mothers side of the family and her Brother so she does have family there but I'm in Kansas so we most likely won't be going at this time.

Thank you for you Prayers.

Update:

Thank you all for your prayers, they are still very much coveted. I spoke to my niece this morning, the news is really no news. They did bone scans on Gabriel last week, and they did not find any obvious signs of cancer or infection, but they are not ruling out the cancer just yet. They are very concerned about the ends of her bones from the pictures on the scans. They took a large quantity of blood and are shipping it to the East Coast to a major blood research center. The doctors are pursuing the Medibolic(sp?) Bone Disorders, there are lots of them to test for though and they probably won't hear anything for 7-10 days. Jordan her father could really use our prayers he is deployed in Afghanistan and is not dealing well with not being able to be with his wife and daughter when they need him. My niece is of course not sleeping well and having nightmares from all the stress so she could use our prayers as well.
So please keep up with the prayer, I know God will handle this in his and will and in his time, but it is tough not being able to do anything for such a young girl.

Thank You

Update: My niece called yesterday, they got the lab results back and they have ruled out cancer and infection. Praise the Lord. The downside is there is still swelling and bone density at the ends of Gabriel's bones that they can't explain. She is still in a great deal of pain. They are now going to start looking for other causes, such as parasites and such. Please keep those prayers coming, it's great news that she doesn't have cancer but they still haven't figured out what is wrong.

Thanks

Thank you all for your continued prayers.
The current news is "no news" she has had some good days and some bad. They are waiting on the current round of test results to come back. Then they have some appointments towards the end of the month and possibly some at the beginning of next month depending on the results.
