Members Alan
Brethren, We are currently studying the prophecies of the Old Testament that give us detailed information concerning the 1000 Year Reign of Christ, the Millenium, as depicted in Revelation 20:4-7. All of your comments, thoughts, and questions are welcomed and appreciated. We will be studying 19 passages in the Old Testament that correlate with Revelation 20:4-7. These 19 passages (or lessons), are listed in my September 13, 2015 post in this thread. Each passage is considered one lesson for this study. God bless all of you. Alan September 7, 2016 update Salyan, Thank you for the break on the Revelation chapter 19-22 study. We do appreciate the break in order to relfect on all that was written. I am ready to continue the study. We can either continue on the last lesson, Revelation 22:16 & 17, or I can upload the next lesson, Revelation 22:18 and 19. I have no personal preferance. Thank you. Members Alan
Salyan,I have just finished the lesson on Revelation 22: 20 & 21, "Surely I come quickly, your friend, Jesus." This is also the last lesson in the Revelation chapter 19-22 study. If you would like for me to incorporate it into the previous lesson, Revelation 22:18 & 19, and then just have one last complete lesson, that is fine with me. As before, I have no personal preferance.Regards,Alan MountainChristian and EKSmith

I do appreciate it very much.Moderators,Thank you for your help involved in the moderating of the lessons in the Revelation studies.Brethren,Thank you (for the most part), for the fine discussions, ideas, spirit, questions, and thoughts brought out throughout the study. It is my hope that the study was a blessing to you as it was to me. During the discussions I learned quite a bit, the questions made me think a little bit harder, and I appreciated the fellowship.Alan HappyChristian, Rebecca and EKSmith
Members John81
How are we supposed to discuss the final lesson if the thread is locked?
Members Alan
John 81I understand the question and am not sure how to answer. For the most part the discussions in the Revelation was beneficial and helpful to all concerned. But, due to the contentious spirit of just a few men (three unamed men at this juncture),they were able to derail the study for awhile until I was able to finish and allowed to upload the final lesson. You will notice in the last lesson, specifically, Revelation 22:18 & 19, that there is a severe warning to those who change: (1) any of the prophecies of the Book of Revelation, and; (2) any of the words of the book of Revelation and/or the scriptures. Both of these severe warnings would undoutedly cause some contentions on the thread due to individuals, in my opinion, violating these warnings, due to their changing of the doctrines contained in the Book of Revelation. And, that some of the brethren here on OnLine Baptist do not use the KJV in their churches but use the NASV or the NIV. Some of the brethren are not convinced that God did preserve His word. Maybe, just maybe, that was the reason for locking the thread. The above are my own thoughts and I cannot speak for others: nor for the actions of the moderators. Nor do I want to debate, nor even discuss, the actions of the moderators. The actions of the moderators were appropriate. If you, or any other of the brethren, would like to have a different thread to discuss the last lesson, or maybe ask your questions on this thread, and the moderators deem it ok, than I would happy to coninue the discussion. I did mention in the Revelation thread though (to Covenanter), that I would not debate, nor argue, in the Revelation thread, or in any other thread. I also mentioned to one of the other brethren that I normally will discuss a particular issue only twice; after the second time I drop the issue as it normally turns into an arugument after that.HappyChristian and eswardenThank you for enjoying the last lesson on Revelation. I am glad it was a blessing to you and am encouraged by your, 'like.'Any of the brethren have any thoughts on this matter?Alan 2ndTimothy
Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted July 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 19, 2015 How are we supposed to discuss the final lesson if the thread is locked?I was the one who unlocked the thread long enough for the brief conclusion to be posted. Other mods were aware of my action, it was not done behind their backs. The reason I re-locked was simple -- I did not originally lock it and am not going to leave it open thus countermanding another mod's decision. Doing so would have been rude to the mod and stepping out of place. Alan

Administrators HappyChristian Posted July 19, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2015 Alan, a thread here in the IFB forum would be very appropriate, if you wish to begin one. The reasons for the locking of the other thread should thus be avoided. Alan
Members Alan
HappyChristian, Thank you for your advice. I am sure that all of us appreciate it very much. Brethren, Right now I am at our new church computer in a different city from my personal computer. Unless I am re-directed by a moderator, in a little over three hours I will be able to start the new thread for comments, discussions, and questions concerning the Revelation thread; primarily the last lesson, Revelation 22:18-21. Members Popular Post Alan
Brethren,As we begin the discussion on the last lesson in Revelation, Revelation 22:18-21, I think it would be wise to better moderate ourselves and to refrain from any contentious spirit and posts. Rebecca brought out something I think would be of a benefit to this discussion. I wholeheartedly agree with everything that Rebecca said.Rebecca said:I am very disappointed to see the Revelation thread locked. I was enjoying and learning from the lessons. However, I completely understand why it was locked. While the lessons were great, the posts that lead up to the thread being locked were not written with a Christian spirit, were not edifying, and were not encouraging. They were a distraction to the readers who were there for a Bible study and discussion.I really hope the Revelation thread is able to be unlocked so the lessons can be finished. I believe there are only a few lessons left. It would be wonderful if the remaining lessons could be posted without more controversy. The lessons were written in an easy to understand and straight forward manner. It's difficult to find lessons like that on the book of Revelation, so I personally was thankful for the study.I am not starting this post so the bad attitudes, accusations, and excuses can be continued here. If that happens, I'll ask that this thread be locked immediately. I simply wanted to make my disappointment in this matter public, and I'm sure I'm not the only reader/"hearer" who is disappointed. I Corinthians 14:26 "How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying."Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."Titus 2Romans 12:3-8In an effort to self moderate this lesson in Revelation 22:18-21 we will heed her thoughts and the admonition of Paul the Apostle in 1 Corinthians 14:26, "...Let all things be done unto edifying." As the writer of this post, it behooves me to keep this post in an edifying manner, to try and prevent contentious posts, and supervise it as best as possible. Furthermore, I will keep in thought not to let this post be an debate forum, an argumentative session, nor let a contentious spirit envelop it. "The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with." Proverbs 17:14May God bless all of us as we begin the lesson in Revelation 22:18-21Revelation 22: 18 and 19,“Judgment for taking away the prophecy, or words, from the Scriptures.”Verse 18, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.”Verse 19, “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”The Book of Revelation is a Book of Prophecy“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.”The Book of Revelation is a book of Prophecy. Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of his prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” The first three chapters are the history of 7 churches that John the Apostle knew about. These 7 churches represent the 7 different types of churches in the church Age and they represent the 7 different ages of the Church Age. Therefore, Revelation chapters 1-3 are partly historical and prophetic, “the things which are.” “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.” Revelation 1:19The rest of the Book of Revelation, chapter 4-22, is entirely prophetic; “and the things which shall be hereafter.” Revelation 1:19The, “Preterist,” view of the book of Revelation contradicts this clear teaching that the words of the Book of Revelation is a book of prophecy. Therefore, along with other doctrinal reasons, the Preterist teaching is incorrect. The teaching that the Book of Revelation is symbolic, allegorical, and not prophetic, contradicts the clear teaching that Revelation it is a book of prophecy. Therefore, the symbolic and allegorical interpretation is incorrect. The, “Futurist,” or “Literal,” view of the book of Revelation is the only method of interpretation that the book of Revelation, from chapter 4 and following, is a book of prophecy. Therefore, it is the only correct method of interpretation. The Book of Revelation was written, approximately, in 96 A. D. The destruction of Jerusalem occured in 70 A. D. Those who teach that the events of the Book of Revelation tell about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A. D. also contradicts this teaching that the Book of Revelation is prophetic. Furthermore, the teaching that the Book of Revelation was written before 70 A. D. is a fabrication, originating with the Roman Catholic Church, in order to teach that the events of the Book of Revelation is an historical book concerning the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A. D. and therefore, not prophetic. Therefore, the teaching that Revelation was written before 70 A. D. is not correct. The Book of Revelation is a book of prophecy; it is not a Historical Book, it is a prophetic book. NIV readings in Revelation that take away prophecyThe following two examples that the NIV takes away from the prophecies of the Book of Revelation. One of these erroneous examples are found here in Revelation 22:19(KJV) Revelation 22:19, “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”(NIV) Revelation 22:19, “And is anyone takes words away from the book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.”The translators insert, “tree of life,” for, “book of life.” My dearest friend, that is not correct. The, “book,” of life is totally different from,” the tree of life.” The Textus Receptus clearly states, in the Greek language, “book of life.” The NIV is in error. The translators, in many verses, take away, or add, words, that affect the doctrine of the deity of the Lord Jesus in numerous verses in the Old and New Testament. As we are dealing with prophecy, and specifically the Book of Revelation, we will look at two of the examples where the NIV adds, “words,” in the prophetical Book of Revelation in order to water down the deity of Christ.(KJV) Revelation 1:8, “I am alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (NIV) Revelation 1:8, “I am Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”By Old Testament verses, we know that God is Lord and Almighty. By adding the word, “God,” after Lord the NIV takes away the explicit meaning that Jesus is the Lord Almighty. The NIV reading sounds pious but by adding the word “God” where it does not belong it takes away the direct reading that Jesus is the Lord Almighty. The pious sounding added words in the NIV is the mark of a smooth talking heretic that Paul warned us about in Romans 16:18, “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”(KJV) Revelation 14:14, “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.”(NIV) Revelation 14:14, “I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one “like a son of man” with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.”By adding the one word, “a” before son of man, the NIV attempts to take away the title of the, “Son of man,” the deity of the Lord Jesus, and make the Lord Jesus like any other individual.Three Warnings in the ScripturesGod has warned men not to take away or add to His Words three times: at the beginning of the scriptures in Deuteronomy 4:2, in the middle of the scriptures in Proverbs 30: 5 & 6, and here in Revelation 22: 18 & 19.Brethren, the warning given in Revelation 22:18 & 19 is one of the harshest, serious, and most solemn, warnings written in the scriptures. The Doctrine of the Preservation of the Written Word of God.Psalm 12:6-8, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.”In the English language, the Authorized Version, commonly called the King James Version (KJV) of 1611, is the preserved word of God. It is a, “pure,” Bible. It is untainted by the filth of the world and the corruption of false ministers of the gospel. The doctrines contained therein have not been tainted with the false prophets, false teachers, false ministers and the religious denominational headquarters of this world.Reference Material on the Manuscript Preservation of the Scriptures.God, in His wisdom, and in His direct will, did not promise to preserve the original manuscripts. He promised to preserve, “The words of the LORD...” The study of the manuscript evidence of the Authorized Version, hereafter referred to the KJV 1611 for brevity, is long and extensive. A study of this nature is insignificant to even touch the hem of the garment. Very briefly. The underlying manuscript, for the New Testament, in the Greek language, for the KJV 1611, is the Textus Receptus. As the Book of Revelation was written in Greek we will limit any manuscript evidence presented in this study to the Textus Receptus Greek New Testament. The underlying manuscripts of the new perverted versions of the scriptures, starting from the Revised Version of 1881, Dr. Westcott and Dr. Hort, is the Vaticanus and the Sinaiticus. Both the Vaticanus and the Sinaiticus are corrupt, Roman Catholic manuscripts. Therefore, I will list some other research material, books and two sound, doctrinally correct, internet sites, for the reader to pursue the study of the manuscript preservation of the scriptures.David Cloud, “For Love of the Bible.” Published by: Way of Life Literature.Dr. Samuel C. Modern Perversion of the Scriptures:The New International Version (NIV)“And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.” Jeremiah 23:36The American Heritage dictionary definition of pervert(ed) adj. is: 1. To cause to turn away from what is right, proper, or good; debase: accused of perverting justice. 2. To corrupt (someone) morally. See Synonyms at corrupt. 1. To interpret incorrectly.[1] The Apostle Paul reiterates this warning in 2 Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” The NIV, and the many other perversions of the scriptures, and the false teachers who use these perverted, or corrupt, versions, are causing many saints, (2 Peter 2:3, 14, and 18), to be deceived and to turn away from correct doctrines of prophecy to believe incorrect doctrines of prophecy.Starting from the Revised Version of 1881, all of the modern translations are corrupted perversions of the word of God. As I am most familiar with the New International Version[2], hereafter called the NIV, I will use just a few examples of its corruption. The NIV is found to be a lying version of the scriptures.Proverbs 30: 5 & 6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”(KJV) John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” In fulfillment of Psalm 2:7, “I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.” The Noah Webster 1828 dictionary lists the definition of begotten as: procreated; generated.”[3] See also John 1:14 and 18; 3:18 and Hebrews 11:17Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the virgin birth, Luke 1:35, the Lord Jesus was the only ‘begotten’ Son of God.(NIV) John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” This verse is a perversion; a lie. The Lord Jesus was not the, “one and only Son.” Adam was the son of God, Luke 3:38. But, Adam was a created being that did not exist before the creation. The Lord Jesus was not a created being. Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: ...” God gave us His son. The Son, the Lord Jesus was in eternity with God; the birth of the Lord Jesus enabled the Son have a physical body like a man.The teaching of John 3:16 in the NIV is the same teaching of the cults: the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons. Severe Judgments “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”The false prophets, false ministers, false teachers, and the translators of these false bibles, are to receive the harshest punishments possible. These punishments are plainly listed and need little comment. The plagues written in the Book of Revelation will be increased. They will not be able to partake of the Tree of Life. They will not be able to partake of the Water of Life. They will not be able to Reign with Christ in His 1000 Year Reign. Revelation 20:4-6They will not be with God on the earth for eternity. Revelation 21:32 Peter 2:9, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” Revelation 22:20 and 21, “Surely I come quickly, your friend Jesus.”Verse 20, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.Verse 21, The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”“He which testifieth these things...”This is a continuation of verse 16 and Revelation chapter 1. The Lord Jesus personally bears witness of the prophecies and judgments, “these things,” mentioned in the book of Revelation. We need to remember that the whole book of Revelation is a direct prophecy from the Lord Jesus. “The Revelation of Jesus Christ...” Revelation 1:1“... saith Surely ... ”Every word that the Lord Jesus will come to pass. We can count on it. We need to hide the words of the Lord Jesus in our hearts when He said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35“... I come quickly. As this portion is directly written to the saints in the church age, verse 16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.” The Lord Jesus is personally coming and when He comes we will see Him face to face in the air. This is a clear reference to the coming of Christ as declared by Paul the apostle in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18“Quickly”The word quickly in this context has two meanings.Fast: like in an instant of time.Brethren, when the Lord Jesus does come, it will be in an, “twinkling of an eye.” “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we must be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:52In the not too far distant future.Since this was written in approximately 96 A. D., there has been approximately 1,925 years pass. To some folks, because so many years have passed they are of the notion that Jesus is not coming, “quickly.”This is an error due to the human frailty to understand that in the mind of God that only a couple of days have passed. 2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” We need to understand that with God, time is very temporary. The apostle Peter was trying to encourage the “beloved brethren” to continue on faithfully serving the Lord. This is one of the reasons, several times in fact, that the Lord Jesus warned all the saints in the Church Age to have patience in waiting for Him to come again. The Olivet DiscourseIn the Olivet Discourse we have many warnings about being ready for the coming of the Lord Jesus. These warnings can be applied to both the saints in the Church Age, or Dispensation, and also to the saints in the Tribulation Age, or Dispensation.Matthew 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Jesus is our Lord and we do not know when He is coming. The story in Matthew 24:37-41, Noah, is applicable to both the saints in the dispensation of the Church Age, and to the saints in the dispensation of the 7 Year Tribulation period.Matthew 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” The story in the faithful and unwise servants in Matthew 24: 42-51 is both applicable to the saints in the dispensation of the Church Age and to the saints in the dispensation of the 7 Year Tribulation Period.Matthew 25:13, “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” The parable of the Bridegroom and the 10 Virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 can be applicable to both the saints in the dispensation of the Church Age, and the saints in the 7 Year Tribulation Period.Matthew 25:19, “After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.” The parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30 can be applicable to both the saints in the dispensation of the Church Age, and to the saints in the 7 Year Tribulation Period.“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.”For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8 Glory Hallelujah for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. In eternity, all of the saints: from Adam to the last person saved in the Millennium, is saved by grace. From all of the ages, or dispensations, in the Old and New Testament: From the Garden to the Law, from the Law to Grace (the Church Age), from the Church Age to the Millennium saints, from the Millennium saints to Eternity. All will be in Eternity in the Celestial City through Faith in the Grace of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. From all of the different countries: from Israel to China, to Africa, to America, the British Isles, the Polynesian Islands, the European Continent, to the saints in South America; will be a showcase of the grace of God. “That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:7.For further blessings in your heart, a reading of Ephesians 1:10-14; 2:19-22 and 3:14-21 will show you the joy to come in eternity! God’s Grace is Amazing!Amazing Grace, in the original 5 lyrics.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3G72NucLEGM“ Amen.”The word amen is usually a firm agreement with what one has heard or what one has read. In Deuteronomy 27:11-26 we see an example of how God wanted all of His people to be in agreement with Him.How to have a close walk with GodAmos 3:3, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”Unless a person is in agreement with what God has said in His word, a person cannot walk with God. If a person believes a false doctrine is that person walking with God? No. Is the person saved? Maybe, maybe not? Don’t know. In eternity, as we walk with the Lord Jesus, He will correct all of the false doctrines believed by the saints throughout the ages. The saints may not be in agreement in this life, and walk together in this life, but, my beloved friend, in eternity that problem will be corrected. One of the reasons why many brethren in many churches cannot walk together, or even talk in a civil way together, is because they do not agree. They cannot say, “Amen,” to the brother’s talk.Beloved brethren, we need to agree with God and what He has written in His book, and then say, in our hearts and mouth, “Amen, so be it!” [1] “pervert” The American Heritage Dictionary. Members Alan
Brethren,I received a private message requesting discussing two items that I wrote about:1. "The first three chapters are the history of 7 churches that John the Apostle knew about. These 7 churches represent the 7 different types of churches in the church Age and they represent the 7 different ages of the Church Age." I did not go into any detail concerning this comment as it did not pertain to main points of Revelation 21:18-21. The above statement is a very broad statement and is not considered doctrine in any sense of the word. So, there is much differences of opinion within the independent Baptist ranks. I purposely did not explain myself very much. If any of the brethren want to expound on this statement, comment on it, or let my know why they would not say such a thing, and you feel it is worthwhile to discuss the issue, than please do so.2. “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”The false prophets, false ministers, false teachers, and the translators of these false bibles, are to receive the harshest punishments possible. Revelation 21:32 Peter 2:9, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” The above statement could you some clarification. Evidently, there are some people who use the above verses to prove, or insinuate, that a person could lose their salvation due to the above sin of, "adding or taking away," from God's word. The scriptures are very clear. Once a person is saved, that person is eternally secure in Christ Jesus. In the scriptures, when God says we have, everlasting life," that is exactly what He means. A saved person cannot lose his/her salvation and is "sealed" by the Holy Spirit the moment of salvation until the redemption of the body when Jesus comes. Ephesians 4:30, "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until the day of redemption." I also want to remind the reader what I previously wrote in Psalm 12:6-8, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” In the sight of God, the translators who tamper the written scriptures are, "wicked," and "vile." They are not saved nor where they ever saved. "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." Psalm 9:17Rebecca said something in the Laodicea thread that is applicable to these translators (false prophets):Of course Alan believes the Bible is our final authority! It's quite obvious by the context that the sentence is talking about the churches today who disregard God's Word, it is not their final authority. Alan is correct, in this day and age more and more churches are laying aside the Bible in favor of books written by man. Once upon a time, the Bible was revered, it was considered holy, and it was treated as such by those in the churches throughout the world. But, in this day and age the Bible is offensive even to some of those in the church so they disregard it or change it to suit their warped beliefs. If the churches truly loved the Word of God, there would not be so many perverted bibles on the market today, the people of God would be too terrified to change God's holy words. But they're not scared, not even a tad bit worried. And that's because they don't believe the Bible is the very Word of God, to them it's just a book. These translators have no fear of God nor of the Judgment of God.2 Peter chapter 2 is primarily a chapter about false prophets. Please also note that in the last statement I quoted 2 Peter 2:9 “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” God, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, told us that the false prophets are, "unjust." They are not, "justified," they are unjust and still in their sins. The false prophets were never saved; just like the multitude of false prophets in our age. They say they are saved and know how to talk like a Christian but in the sight of God they are, "unjust."In conclusion, I also previously mentioned one of the root causes of the problem with these translators (false prophets), is that they lack spiritual discernment. Like the Mormons and the J.W.'s they are the blind leading the blind. Matthew 15:10-14; 1 Corinthians 2:14; 1 John 4:1 and Romans 8:9, "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."I hope that I clarified my position. If there are any of the brethren who would like to add their own comments than please do so.Alan Edited July 24, 2015 by Alan phraseology wrong Ronda and Gud4U 1
