Okay I'm finding Facebook is a really BAD place to comment about politics haha so I deleted something there and coming here.

I can't see why its considered "OK" to build a MOSQUE two blocks from Ground Zero? Made the mistake of putting it on my Facebook and one of my lost friends (business contact) was a bit irritated and defended "freedom of religion".

True, but when that freedom is so inconsiderate as to build an offensive building near the same spot that SAME religion massacred thousands...well duh...that's kinda insensitive!!!!

But I should be getting used to the fact by now that Christians are the only ones not allowed to be insensitive...everyone else can do as they wish. Grr.

Knowing the way Islam operates I'd imagine the building of the Mosque in that location is at least in part a means of rubbing our noses in it.

Of course, Islam's believe they have all rights, that Christians have no rights, yet that's nothing new, nearly all infidels feels the same way.

Facebook, I've been over there since right after it started, in the last several weeks I've given though to wiping my page out. There seems to be article after article about security risk and of course its soaked with infidels, also with many who call their self Christian that never act like one.

We've enjoyed many years of Christians freedoms such as Christians have never experienced yet most of us have not took full advantage of it as we should have. I feel its coming to an end. Persecution seems to spread Christianity much better than a period of great Christian freedom. I figuer it will separate those who just use Christianity to their advantage from the true Christians.

I "liked" the page that is againtst the mosque. No-one commented badly, but several friends joined. Most of my friends are very interested in anything like this, so I don't get bad statements.

Freedom of religion doesn't mean that we have to silently roll over and let those who hate us and want to wipe us out rub our corporate noses in it.

Islamic teaching is for Muslims to immigrate into non-Muslim countries and to live quietly until they are in a position to begin the Islamification of that country. Establishing a Mosque is part of their laying claim to a land; kind of like planting a flag.

Islam teaches that all people must eventually accept Islam or be eliminated. Not really the tolerant religion the PC media (or OBama) would have us believe it to be.

John, I will second your comments. After reading a book, "philistine" the author is lock step with you about Islam and Moslems. The goal is world control under Sharia law. Peoples and nations will submit to Islam or be killed. Martyred for their faith, there are terrifying days ahead for many.

This is why eternal security in Jesus Christ is so important. The clock is ticking our neighbor/s have little time to be saved.

Yes, their theology teaches them, all convert to Islam or die. There is no middle ground, that's the teachings of the Koran, yet many will say its a peaceful religion. Those who say this are either, stupid, or fools, its truly a deadly religion. Oh, when a politician makes the claim Islam is a peaceful religion, they're both stupid and foolish.
