Please pray for me, I have a lot of fear inside me. I always ask God to take this away but it seems that it always come back over and over. I hope this will go away this 2009 as I am really struggling with it this 2008. Please pray also for the salvation of my whole family. I hope God will save them as I know that life is so short. I really hope that God will have mercy on them just like He had mercy on me...Thanks!

I told a lady to start reciting John 14;27 when a fear of spiders over came her. That helped her. Praying that your fear can be helped by God.

This verse helps me....I also struggle with fear and worry. If you love and trust the Lord, he can cast out your fear.

Psalm 23 always helps me when I am afraid and 2008 has been an especially trying year! I will pray for you and for the salvation of your lost family members! May you shine as a beacon of hope that God meant you to be! :pray

Ah, Jenny, we all struggle with fear at times - each different, but still real fears. Maybe do a Bible study on the word fear, and memorize several scriptures (including the ones mentioned here). Once they are committed to memory, when the fear comes, the Holy Spirit can bring these verses back to mind and can help you conquer that fear. I hope 2009 is a year of great victory for you - both in your fears and in seeing family members come to Christ.

Thank you brothers and sisters for your prayers. I am still afraid with a lot of things right now, but I know that God is good. I think I will just have to remind myself God's nature and character through His Word so that whenever I am afraid, I know I have a big God up there.
