The Book of Revelation Chapter 17 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones a…

The Book of Haggai Chapter 1 1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying, 2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built. 3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? 5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, …

Now I know many people who feel that soccer is not the most exciting sport to watch. I mean come one who wants to watch 90 minutes of some dudes kicking a ball around a field and after that time, only one or two goals are scored. On top of that all the acting, and diving and pretending to get hurt just doesn't make sense right? WRONG! Listen, Soccer has its flaws, if you will, but so does every other sport. Come on baseball on television? You can sit there and tell me after 1 hour of commercials, and 2 and half more hours of waiting for the pitcher to throw the ball and see of the batter swings at it, and if he doesn't then you have to wait longer... I mean come on…

A friend of mine emailed this to me today, and I thought it was worth sharing: I like this plan, especially since I have no debt, I could do some incredible things for the cause of Christ with that kind of money. C

I have two songs that I love to listen to, both of them are not Christian musics like praising God or anything, but I like to listen to music like Classical and other songs to relax or enjoy the music. These 2 songs fall in that type, and its to me.... I havent found nothing wrong with it, first time I listen to them, I enjoyed it! The first song is called Sanctuary from Kingdom Hearts 2 (its a PS2 game, the song is the opening, and ending). I have been in pain ever since I had my baby eight weeks ago. On the weekend I was in more pain that usual, and so we got it checked out to find out that I had broken my tailbone having my little boy! Ouch! But at least there is a reason for the pain.

What do you all think of the stock market? I hear its been going up and down lately. We don't invest in stocks (no money to right now) and I see the wisdom in investing in stocks and bonds in general and don't have a problem with it. However, I notice older people who have alot of stock tend to get happy or depressed depending on how many thousands of dollars they "make" or "lose" overnight. To me, it doesn't seem healthy....how many have actually committed suicide after a stock market drop or crash? Just thoughts....

Today I cut a limb off of a pine tree in our back yard. After getting down from the ladder I saw a spider running off that had been on this limb, she had that bag they carry their babies in and she was really making tracks. With the trouble John is going thru, especially with the Social Services I suppose this came to my mind. Poor mother, she is probably thinking, "what is this world coming to, a mother cannot raise her children in peace any more, these humans are always coming along and interfering, why can't they just leave me alone and let me raised my children properly?" :uuhm:

I watched this special on ABC last night about UFO's. I was wondering what the consensus on UFO's was here. I was also wondering what y'all think about Roswell, Area 51, etc. since there seems to be a lot of conspiracy theorists on this board.

Just wanted to get on and let all of you, our OB friends, know that our son Asa Paul was born @ 10:22 p.m. on September 18th. He is 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 19 in. long. His head and chest are both 14 in. in circumference. Heather had him via C-section because in 14 hours of pretty intense labor she had only progressed to about 1 1/2 cm. That was about where she was when they began the inducement at 6 am yesterday morning. She did very well, though, and had the Lord allowed, she was on the way to having Asa completely naturally. But God is GOOD and merciful and gracious and he blessed us beyond our wildest imaginations when he chose to give us our son in a different way …

Does anyone know of a legitimate way to make money using the internet? I've been searching for an online way to make a little bit of extra money, but it seems like all of the online opportunities pay you mere pennies for the hours you'd spend online. I've also thought of another business opportunity for myself that involves creating a product and selling it, but it would take some work and ingenuity to get it started up, and who wants to do actual work and thinking!? :roll

Why do we still import from China? Their products are soooo risky. Look at the toys recalled last year, look at their own people being sickened by formula and milk. They don't care about their products, just making money! We should not import from them at all.

This afternoon about 2:30 PM, about 3 to 4 miles west of us there was a shooting, a man and woman injured, woman shot in the elbow, man shot in lower part of body, the man may have had to be air lifted to a Texarkana Hospital. Seems the fellow who did this was out of jail or prison on furlough. I think the fellow who did the shooting has connections with the people for the police had to go to this same house yesterday because of some type of trouble. When we came home from church we drove over that way, seems this man is still has not been caught, last we heard he was seen running thru and open field. We have the doors locked, the guns loaded, for this man will pro…

Anyone here severely affected by Ike throughout the midwest? My sister is in Chicagoland and said they just got water in their basement but not bad...but that so many roads are still closed due to flooding that its hard to get up to Northwest Indiana to do some of her errands, and had to cancel one thing. I know Texas got it worst and deserves most of the media coverage but I'm surprised the midwest got so little coverage.

We will be in church meetings that go for about three hours on Thursday night, Friday morning and Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday night, and Sunday morning. I have a one year old who can't sit quietly, and putting him in the nursery is not an option due to a certain illness that has been going around. I don't expect him to sit still...I just want him to sit either on his part of a pew, or on a chair, or on either mine or my husband's lap. Is this doable? I'd love to hear the ideas.

Common Sense? 1 2

Where has common sense gone, why are so many people lacking the ability to know right from wrong? Is common sense something that is gone for good and are we gonna have to continually go behind the people who lack it and clean up their mess? Just some questions that aggravate me to no end.

Today is opening day of early muzzleloader season here. So I got up not to early as I never see any deer on my place before 8:00am anyways. Got all my gear ready to go, had a cup of coffee with my wife, and then walked down to the trees on the north end of my property, about a 1/2 mile away. I climbed up into my stand and hung my shooting bag and rifle on their hooks and was just getting comfy when a Doe and two yearlings came up out of my field and into the trees. When they walked behind some brush and couldn't see me I grabbed my Double rifle off the hook and stood up. I watched them walk in and out of the trees until the big doe got in the clear about 40 yards away. Sh…

September 19, 2008 PJB: The Party?s Over By Patrick J. Buchanan The Crash of 2008, which is now wiping out trillions of dollars of our people?s wealth, is, like the Crash of 1929, likely to mark the end of one era and the onset of another. The new era will see a more sober and much diminished America. The ?Omnipower? and ?Indispensable Nation? we heard about in all the hubris and braggadocio following our Cold War victory is history. Seizing on the crisis, the left says we are witnessing the failure of market economics, a failure of conservatism. This is nonsense. What we are witnessing is the collapse of Gordon Gecko (?Greed Is Good!?) capitalism. What we are w…

:frog :Bleh Avoid coupon redeemers: Their stigma is contagious (unless they're attractive) General Science / Other Less than 2 percent of Americans use coupons, likely because of fear of being viewed as cheap or poor. A new study in the Journal of Consumer Research demonstrates that not only do coupon users face stigmatization; people who stand near them do too.... http://www.physorg.com/news140710526.html

The familiar saying goes "Opposites attract", another says "Birds of a feather flock together" . I think that Birds of a feather flock together has more meaning than Opposites attract. It says in the bible do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. So yeah, Birds of a feather do flock together, only in science, do opposites attract. Just a thought.

OK, now that we know who gong to be the running mates, who do you suppose will win this election. I'm not asking you who you will vote for, just who you pick to win. Many are saying because McCain picked Palin, a woman, many of those who were for Hillary will vote for the McCain ticket. But I feel that is not true. Most of her follower firmly believe in a woman's choice to abort if she wants to, with Palin against that, I just feel she will not get hardly any of the. I've though all along that Obama would go all the way, I still feel that he will, unless he makes a major mistake. But I must say, seems with McCain picking Palin has help him a bit, but not enough to…
