I'm thinking about switching from my current church (largest Russian Baptist church in America) to a small (Reformed Baptist) house church in Rancho Cordova. Thing is, even if I switch, I am still active in my church in two areas: I am the youth website developer and I am a band leader in the Thursday group, The Gospel Project. I need God's wisdom in making the right decision here and if I do switch, to do the transition right as well. I have a very bad situation with my work and my family... here's how the story goes: I got a jOB working for a friend I've known for about 7 years. We were working on a project for a certain investor. My boss/friend is friends with a business partner of this investor. This business partner owes the investor money. So, instead of paying off his debt, he lied to the investor that he paid for the project instead of the investor. In reality, this business partner did not pay my boss anything, so my boss doesn't have money to pay me. He now owes me a bit over $1500. Please pray for our multiracial Gospel Fellowship as we lose our building & are being scattered. Especially pray that there will be gracious interaction between the churches & that we will not have a spirit of resentment. From an email sent out to their supporters: My concern is that the "Building!" houses a Bible-believing Gospel church, & the baptists coming in should be welcomed by the existing church, & seek to incorporate us. Found out my youngest sister (17), is about 11-12 weeks pregnant. Unmarried, father is a senior in high school (she will be starting her first year of college soon). Not the greatest situation you want to find your baby sister but glad they decided to keep the baby (and not abort) and it also seems they will not be putting the baby up for adoption (which is also a plus in my eyes). These kids, or at least my sister, are going to grow up real fast it seems. Anyway, I ask for your prayers she gets saved and that she and the baby stay healthy. That God would use me or someone/anyone to go and witness to her.

Please remember the family and friends of preacher Roland Parker. He pastored the Cloverleaf Baptist Church, of Cartersville, GA, for many years. Preceding his death, he was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, of Calhoun, GA. He passed away yesterday. I know the family will receive friends tomorrow night, but I don't know where, or any particulars about the funeral. No information seems to be available at this time. I never had the chance to meet Brother Parker, but from what people say around here, he was a great man of God. He'll be greatly missed. Please, be in prayer Tuesday for Joel. He is a deaf man from Mexico that attends our church. He is going before a judge to decide if he can stay in the USA or not. He is married and has a son. As far as I know, there is no real reason why he should have to leave the US.

I been having major sinus prOBlems and other health prOBlems and some of it in the passed kept me from church. I am also having trust issues with people and I am not having lower back prOBlems and i am only 32 years of age. I don't trust doctors anymore or afraid to go to the doctor because of several reasons. I just want the pains and sinus prOBlems and now this lower back prOBlem to go away. I never was pregnant so I am not sure if I am pregnant or not , I read lower back prOBlems are also a sign of pregnancy. I feel ever since we are going to a strong Bible believing teaching church and very strong , Satan is trying to discourage me. Karrie

Our oldest son Timmy has run away from the Christian boarding school along with three other boys. Please pray for their safety and that they will be found swiftly before they do anything more stupid. Please also pray for my family and I that we will have the strength, wisdom and a measure of comfort as we go through this. In just 5 days we were supposed to pick him up for a home visit and a mini-family vacation time together for four days. Well, as some of you may know, I have serious skin prOBlems (cystic acne). I've been taken a powerful medication for it, Clarivas (a generic of Accutane), for about three months now. However, I will prOBably have to take it three or four more months. I've been taking steriods, but I don't wish at all to take any more. Even as I write this I'm in a lot of pain. I had my Dad die from cancer back in June of 2000, and I couldn't be there for his death. I was there just a few weeks before he passed. My birth father has pushed everyone away except for his grandchildren. My relationship with him has been tenuous at best. My niece just sent a text telling me that he is unresponsive, but still breathing. He'll probably pass away in the next few hours. -

Folks, A brother here at OB developed an online download KJV Bible for PCs and Phones. I recently had to do a phone factory reset and lost the app and the saved link address. Anyone here have that link or know the brother, sadly I can't remember who he was. I must have turned 71 on November 1st, can't remember like I used to 😱. Thanks in advance. -

My birth father's hospice nurse and doctor have given him a few days at the most to live. We have witnessed to him several times, sent him Gospel tracts and prayed for him for the past 40 years. He did ask for a preacher to come and talk to him, and my niece's pastor went and talked to him. At any rate, Pop can't keep anything straight now, and his organs have started to shut down. I spoke to him for just a few minutes last evening and told him I loved him. I know I won't be able to speak with him again. His passing will bring it's own set of challenges as my stepmom is starting to go into full blown Alzheimer's. There's only her sister left to care for her after Pop passes. Please pray for this whole situation and for my Pop's peaceful passing. My wife and I won't be able to make a trip up to Corydon IN , and he wants no services or memorials. Thanks in advance BT -
