That's hello in New Mexico, the name is Jim Nicholson, pastoring the Living Word Baptist Church, in Albuquerque New Mexico, husband of a wonderful wife, we have 2 children, 1 grandson, USMC vet. Love my Lord, my family, and my country. Received Christ as my Saviour at 28 years old while living in Abilene TX 30 years ago. I could go on and on about what I was and where I've been, but you know the most important thing in my life, Jesus Christ in my Saviour, and I became a new creature.

Since it has been awhile since I've been around, I thought I'd give myelf a proper introduction. About me: I am a 33 year old male, married with two beautiful daughters. I accepted Christ at the age of 9 years old, and have gone through periods where I was strong in my faith, and periods in which my faith grew dim. I am thankful to the Father and the sacrifice of his son Jesus to make it possible to restore a relationship with me. I moved about a year ago. I grew up in and I have always attended a Baptist church until this move. I just could not find a Baptist church where I felt that God wanted to make our church home. There are many good churches around, but…

Hello Christian Ladies and Gentlemen. I am quite happy to have found this discussion board. I wasn't aware of it previously until doing a google search today for a Baptist discussion forum. Thanks be to God for showing this to me, as I can really use the fellowship right now, and some advice and guidance from godly members. I've been saved for two years now, coming from a background in Roman Catholicism, and even to this day, Rome's influence is still in my life in the form of family members who are very committed to, and very much a part of, the unfortunate Whore of Babylon. I owe much of my decision to accept Christ as my Savior to a godly former co-worker at my pre…

Hi, I'm Nathaniel, I'm not the best as words and its possible I may say to much or too little so please bear with me. I'm a relatively new believer, I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior about two months ago. He has helped me tremendously and has brought lots of joy into my life. I'm doing my best to walk in the path of righteousness as he would want me to do; Before I thought but now wouldn't classify my self as saved. I wasn't doing the will of God and I don't think i ever asked to be saved. I always believed in Jesus i think but he certainly wasn't my priority. It is kind of hard to explain but I think these verses can pretty much sum up the previous me. Luke 6:46 And …

Hi there! My name isn't really Escambia, but it really isn't McSween, either, so I guess whatever you call me is okay. I've lived all over the country, with the exception (by the grace of God) of the Northeast, and currently reside in eastern North Carolina. I received Christ, according to John 1:12, at the age of 19; that was 41 years ago. You can do the math, although it might be an uncharitable thing to do! My earliest teachers and mentors, to whom I owe an eternal debt, were evangelical Presbyterians; I became a believer in the King James Bible 13 years after my conversion, and (this will not surprise you) became a Baptist shortly thereafter. I'm pleased to find…

Hello all, I am stopping by to see how this board works and responds. I have used the Fund preaching board occasionally but it is now gone. Don’t get much internet time from a third world country but will cross swords on occasion to sharpen our blades. I sometimes use the "Antithesis" form of discussion even though I will side with groups like this most often. I like people to think not just recite others. Often the things I will share come from very personal discovery, hardship and truths proven from God’s Word. When I lived in the USA I learned much about the Bible but many times it was in theory and abstract. Living by faith in a third world mission field has made many…

Hello Online Baptist Members, I am glad to be on this forum. I hope to learn more about and continue to walk in my faith. I am from Philadelphia, PA, but now reside in NC, Eastern part of the state for the moment. I am a undergraduate student who attends American Military University, a Regionally Accredited University located in W. Va. (Online) My major is English Literature, but have had a strong desire to move to, once the degree is complete, Biblical studies, namely the Holy Bible. I would like to teach in an IFB school or University or open an educational store-front for such. I have been divorced, so preaching or doing anything in the church is out of the question,…

Wanted to pop in and say hi! What a great forum from what I have read so far. My husband and I live in Central KY and have a 2yo girl. We have been attending an IFB church for the last two months. We thoroughly enjoy it and although I was raised in a mostly Christian home I have only very recently come to truly see the many great works of the Lord outside of my previous little church. For the first time in my marriage my husband and I are on the same page and ready to worship God as he should be worshiped. We plan on joining our new church this Sunday and are very excited!

I registered a long time ago, but never really made many posts to speak of so I thought I would introduce myself finally. I'm a lay-preacher from Tennessee. Currently it's AWANA season, which I LOVE! I'm praying to see some young souls saved this year. Once or twice a month a preach at a local assisted living facility, bringing the good news to those that can't get out to hear it. I'm happily married and the father of two wonderful sons. I decided to come back to this forum after other forums I am a member of just got to be too much. I need a refuge from the world!

My name is Timothy. My family and I attend a small IFB Church. We have been members for two years, but we do not consider ourselves Independent Fundamental Baptist for various reasons. My personal theology, or core doctrine is Arminianism for the most part. (Really, I am just a Christian seeking God's Holy truth.) Personally I was saved when only a boy in the first grade and then baptized a few months later. I have a wife and three children. I put my faith and trust in God alone and seek the King James Bible for truth. I am not here to bash IFB Churches and preachers; I love then dearly. I just want to understand some IFB teachings better and share some of the things I be…

My name is Daniel Wyles. I was born with spastic diaplegic Cerebal Palsy which is a disability that resulted from the doctors not doing a C section on my mom when I was born. A portion of my brain the size of the head of a pin died. The doctors told my parents that I would never walk, talk, or be anything other than a vegetable but when the doctor walked out I thank God that Jesus walked in. I began talking at the normal age and by age 7 my reading level was too high to be tested. Despite the doctors report my family believed God I was raised by my grandparents who were more settled than my parents and thus more able to provide the care it was assumed I would need. At ag…

My name is Rich. I'm from Michigan, and I am interested in some of the discussions on this website. I've been a Christian since I was 12. I've taught the Adult Sunday school class in my church for 21 years. I believe the King James Bible is God's Word, and is without error. I love the Lord Jesus, and owe Him a debt that I cannot repay. His grace is all-sufficient.

Hey folks, I'm Steve. I was saved when I was a child in a Methodist Church. At 17, I was called to preach with Acts 26:16. Shortly thereafter, I graduated high school, ended up with the US Marine Corps, back to college for the second time, a jOB as a police officer--all running from the Lord. In 1998 I met a great friend of mine and Hyles Anderson grad who introduced me to Independent Fundamental Baptist preaching. God called that man away and I got mad and ran away again from the Lord. Nearly two years ago, I felt the calling of the Lord was getting even more serious. I retired from police work and started going to church in a new place. Within a very short time …

Hi all - I've been a saved believer since I was 7, and a baptist for a long time. I only use the King James, and know who the great whore is from traditional baptist beliefs. I tend to really enjoy independent baptist articles, and have for a long time, and am considering becoming an independent baptist - currently I am in a southern baptist church. Being doctrine sound is important to me, and in the sense that we use the bible alone and are led by the Holy Spirit. I am a puritain - I do not like man made words that aren't in the bible, or doctrines, or even the emphasis - if it isn't the way God explains it. I believe in the priesthood of believers, so I do not w…

Yes, I know my name is prOBably hard to say but, just call me Krista. Believe it or not, I'm here to stalk someone who is already a member here. I knew him a long time ago and last I heard he was looking up Christian sites and, loe and behold, I found him. Completely off topic but, whatever. Since he's learning I might as well do the same while I'm here stalking him.

My son, Tony, invited me and so here I am. We are presently working to restore our YT channel which was attacked by the Hinn, Copeland and a Spanish "ministry". There are over 1900 videos and has attracted many enemies as well as many brothers and sisters in the Lord. Praise the Lord for all who come. Sam Gipp has given us permission to record live readings from his book Fight On! which we upload to our second YT channel. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1John 2:19

. Hello; My real name is Cliff Weber. I was born in the community of Linda Vista San Diego in January of the year the allies landed at Normandy; but I and my wife of 30+ years have been residing in the Portland Metro area of Oregon since 1985. We have one son who graduated from University of Oregon in 2005 with a degree in Journalism and now resides on his own in San Francisco. Back in 1966 I migrated to Oregon a young single guy in a 1961 Volkswagen in search of work and resided here two years before moving back to San Diego in 1968 to care for my father who was slowly dying of cancer. It was here in the Portland of 1968 where I underwent a second birth as per Jesus…

Hello my fellow Christians! After wandering the net for a long time in search of true Christian fellowship, was very glad to find your board in the Fundamental 500 list a few days ago. From lurking around, I can see that there are many real Christians here. This is a nice change after experiencing several Christian-in-the-name-only boards, those that purport to be Christian, but in reality are anything but. The Fighting Fundamentalist forum is a prime example of pure satanism masquerading as Christian. And even RaptureReady has become dangerously LIEberal recently. About me, I am a 100% fundamental, Christian (KJV 1611) Bible believing, Calvinist, intolerant of si…

Hello and Greetings, I've already posted in the false religions area. I apologize for my negativity towards Baptist. I have been a member of two Independent Baptist Fundamental Churches over the last 15 years. I do have issues with them. I come from a holiness background and am finding it difficult to be content as a Baptist. I guess I even had issues with the holiness churches I've been in too. I almost went Catholic and for 10 years was headed in that direction but stopped short because of my wife's resistance. I may try to post more but have to get to work. Regards, Donillo
