I want to introduce myself. I am a prophet of Jesus Christ. As the Lord be willing I shall be posting that which I am instructed to post. I shall only answer questions the Lord instructs me to answer. I do not require you to read or believe anything I post. I do require that you do not say anything disrespectful to me. If you do say anything disrespectful to me. I shall bring it to my Lord's attention even though He will already know of it beforehand. In other words, I will see to it that it does not go unattended. I shall not disrespect anyone. I shall abide by all of your rules. I will not break a 1. For the Lord is going to judge all this, when it is finished. The L…

Greetings in Jesus' Name, all! I'm a new member from the Northwest Georgia suburbs. I'm a stay-at-home helpmeet and homeschooling mother to one precious pre-teen son. We don't attend an official IFB church, but our church is a very conservative, independent, KJV-only, Bible preaching, Baptist church. Our pastor is a graduate of the Tabernacle Baptist College in Greenville. My family has been members there for two years now and enjoy it very much. Good, solid King James Bible preaching there. I look forward to learning from, and fellowshipping with, like minded Christians here.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus, Times appear to be changing very fast in today's world. I think we will soon see major changes and the world as we know it will no longer be. There was a renewed interest for Christ after 9/11 and I think after the world goes bad people will return to Him again. It's a good to be here and look forward to some great discussions. Jesus is my friend and Savior,

Okay, so as a man I cringed a little when writing that, but it's still important to understand. One of the things that makes a marriage work is understanding what makes the spouse feel loved. I know of many marriages that failed because they never figured this out. An example would be one where the husband is always doing things to the house and other chores, because that's what he appreciates, and the wife just wants him to buy her a little $5 present or a card once a week. She in turn is constantly giving him what he perceives to be junk, and when he alludes to that it devastates her. Kinda like if you were to tell your kid that the drawing they made looks lik…

I am writing my first post here to introduce myself. I joined here a year ago but have been fairly busy in the ministry and have not been active on this website. I have been saved for 30 years praise the Lord. I started attending an Independent Baptist Church at age 5, with a friend. When I was married (28 years ago) my wife and I attented several different Baptist churches and was unable to find happiness, and most importantly the truth until we started attending a Independent Baptist Church close to our home. Since that time I have become involved with the ministry of our church as a Deacon and adult Sunday School teacher. I am currently attending an Indep…

Being Catholic, I'll likely be banned, but that's ok. We welcome ALL to our forums, because we believe in Love your neighbor. Anyway, I am originally from a Catholic area, and moved to the southern states a few years ago where everyone is Baptist. Everyone and their brother are "preachers". Most are arrogant, shove it in your face and certainly don't preach love by any means. Why is this? The Catholic Church was the first church, then the protest (ant) people protested and didn't like many things, so they broke off. They they protest (ed) more and broke away more. This continued to this day and age and so now we have many denominations of protest (ants). Doesn't t…

Good morning! My name is MIke, I'm from California and though I was raised Roman Catholic, I want to begin my Christian Walk with God. I've been saved and protected many a time by him from deception and temptation by others, serious health issues and things in the physical World as well as evil that is always there to try testing us. This past Valentine's Day, God led two of his children (me and my new found friend, who is Baptist) together to meet and it truly was his work because we both believed it was no coincidence for us to start a friendship. She is my prayer warrior and told me that God told her she would lead me on my Christian Walk and be there for me the…

I am new to this site. I trusted Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old. I felt God call me into the ministry when I was sixteen. I currently am leading the children's ministries at my church on Wednesday nights. I want to finish my education and be in the ministry full time in two years.

Okay so God in my eyes is great and he gives us options to choose our own path but I still dislike the fact of his paradise and how you can reach it .... it makes me question his existence ... God is the only one that is perfect ... like if we all live in peace and know we are all equally then that is fine but going to hell just because u rebel against a nation run by Satan or listen to sublime is wrong sounding ... I am not against God ... just because a punk believes in tearing down an establishment that lies to us all and dressing different to express individuality instead of being but on an organized shelf of robots ... God said Satan runs the world and everything wor…

My mother and grandmother that raised me both died leaving me a very large inheritance. I had absolutely no parental guidance. My father was a drug addict that let me run wild. I had no interest in school or anything but pleasing myself and finding ways to cope with my emotional pain. Please understand this: I had no parental guidance and I received a little over $2,000,000 on my eighteenth birthday. I received this inheritance the same year I excepted Christ. I walked through the fire baptism for ten years. Doing absolutely nothing but sampling the fruit of the world! I know its all rotten! I was schooled just like Solomon! The talking light was sent: I was paralyzed fr…

My name is Scott Markle, and I have served the Lord my God and Savior in pastoral ministry since 1992. I have served as the pastor of Melvin Baptist Church, a small country church in the Thumb area of Michigan, since 1998. I have been joyfully married to my beloved wife Kerry since 1993; and we have been blessed of the Lord with two sons, Padraic and Westley. My life-verses are Philippians 3:8 and John 15:4-5. "Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear…
