I was just reading last night in the NT where it says that the "world that then was" perished, being overflowed with water....God says the entire world was destroyed....and certainly it was! The continents broke apart, the mountains pushed up and were pressed down.... if it was just a gentle flooding, there would be very few fossils.

Along these lines, it also was certainly a worldwide flood and not some local flood as some try to say. The Flood reformed the earth.

No strawman or attempt to question your holding to Scripture. Simply pointing out that none of this can be taken to proclaim there were no dinosaurs at any particular period of time.

I think it can. You have no actual bone skeletons to prove that dinos lived after the flood.

God said that two of every creature were in the ark, so at least two dinos in each species had to have lived for at least a few days....

Were dinosaurs fossils built into the world when God created it? I have no idea, yet its possible, and no one can prove they were not. Was the oil below the surface build in when God created the earth? Its possible, and no one can prove it was not.

Seems most people have to have proof of everything, and of course many refuse to believe in Jesus with only the proof that's shown in the Bible. Yet have you noticed, many of those people will fall heads over hills for a theory that is unproven.

You really think God just stuck dino fossils in the earth when He made it????? Even if He did do such a ludicrous thing (for what purpose? To tease humans?)....they would have gotten all broken up during the flood.

Some may look for PROOF and others look for TRUTH.

So called "creationists" who teach schoolchildren that the "Behemoth" in the Bible was a dinosaur are, quite frankly, lying. It may seem right to try to promote creationism by any means possible but it's just wrong. There is "a way that seemeth right....". Sir, I don't have to see any proof that Jesus existed, I don't have to find Noah's Ark on a mountain, or proof that there was a flood and I don't have to tell my kids that the Behemoth of the Bible was a dinosaur, to get them to beleive in the creation. I became a beleiver by faith. But if you want to to tell me that dinos existed after the flood and the Behemoth is proof, that is a lie, sir, becasue you really don't know what the "behemoth" was. Why not really be honest?
Honestly! Edited by heartstrings

How is teaching Behemoth being a dinosaur any more lying than saying its not, seeing as how neither of us has ever seen one????

It is presumptuous to call someone a liar who takes the Bible literally.

Actually it's not.
The Bible tells us to proove all things, and it also tells us to rebuke. My use of the word "lying" was to whoever it may concern. But the fact is, neither you nor I know what a "Behemoth" was. Saying it was definitively a "Dinosaur" is not taking the Bible literaslly, it is actually adding to the scriptures.

Now, I did not say He did, I just said He could have. As for me it rightly makes me no difference how they got here, I've got all the proof I need. I know that everything is God's handiwork. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and John 1:3 All things were made by Him; and without His was not any thing maed that was made. And I fully accept this.

Of course, there is many that will not accept that, even many saved people, I can't give you all their names, yet they're out there in this old world. I was not referring to anyone in particular if that is what your wondering.

Saying behemouth in the Bible is a dinosaur may or may not be true. We can't rightly say it's a lie since we don't know for certain.

I do agree it's wrong to emphatically state that the biblical behemouth was certainly a dinosaur. After all, we don't know for certain. I have no prOBlem with those who put forth that the biblical behemouth may have been a dinosaur. (this would apply to any other creature as well)

There is proof all around the glOBe that dinos and humans interacted after the flood. There is plenty of evidence in writings, drawings and paintings.

John if I owe you $100 and tell you "John, the check is in the mail", all the while not knowing whether my secretary mailed it or not, I am LYING. My secretary may have mailed it and it may indeed truly be in the mail but I had no idea if that was the truth when I told you.
It's the same thing brotherman!
