This afternoon I took my Granddaughter
To the hospital to have an x-ray
She fell while riding her bicycle
And injured her wrist today

Our medical care is failing
One must wait long to be seen
The room was overflowing
Against the walls, some did lean

We were there for several hours
Waiting for them to call our name
Sadly we have lost what we once had
It's really a tragic shame

With all the government cut backs
And the hospital closures too
There aren't enough Dr's nor funds
To properly take care of you..... :(

I hear ya Sue. Our emergency ward at the hospital is no better here, that's why I mostly go to what we call "walk in clinics" for all non-life threatning problems. You can usually get in in less than 20-30 minutes. Much better than the 3-5 hour wait at emerg.

They want us to get socialized medicine here ,I say no thanks the wait is bad enough when you do go .

For me it can be difficult
Especially, if I'm not in the mood.

You see I love junk food
They all taste so delicious
Chocolate is my favorite
