The way I was raised "frying" is what people who don't have a clue how to cook, do.  No one that actually appreciates the taste of well prepared food would ever think of frying.

Great..now that Rosie forced me to mention Anzac Biscuits on another thread, I just have to make some.  Only prOBlem is, I live in Roseburg, OR.  No place within a 100 miles of me sells "Golden Syrup".  I have tried to substitute but it is not the same...I have to order Lyles Golden Syrup from Amazon and have it shipped.

Not all that keen on ANZAC Biscuits myself - wife loves them, but not really my thing.

 

And it is all Capitals by the way - because of what it stands for.

Last night was date night, so my hubby got us the pretzel pizza from Little Ceasar's.  Really good.

 

Tonight he wants hamburgers, so I'll be fixing those for him. And, sorry, 2b, but we gave our grill to our son and DIL, so I'll have to fry them.     And everyone that eats my cooking loves it...so there.

Along with burgers, my hubby enjoyed black bean fiesta and fresh corn on the cOB. Mm-Mm!
