Yeah' date=' right - nice try. The Bible teaches what God wants mankind to learn.[/quote']

So in your church, the Bible gets up and gives a daily sermon?

That's funny because the Catholic Forums I go to as well are open to people of all faiths. We even allow Mormons there. You can visit, maybe you will learn something. Even if you don't, it will still be good for you. If you want to visit, go right ahead.

We allow you to visit but' date=' you have to respect our beliefs. There are other forums if you want to get hatefull and argue.[/quote']

I don't want to get hateful. However, if I can't discuss other points of view on this forum, then there really is no point in me being here. I happen to love other points of view. They only make my faith stronger.

We will discuss, but you have to remember what kind of sight this is, this is not a catholic sight or a morman sight We are for the most part ind. fund. bible believing baptists, our beliefs are based from the word of God alone. If you want to learn from us we are willing to talk with you, But honestly if you keep espousing your catholic views we will lose interest. Although there are some who will argue with you till ya'll are blue in the face.

Nobody asked for the "help" of a catholic link. And I see that you're also going to your catholic site and talking about stuff here on ob and linking them back to topics here. :thumbdown

No, Catholcism and any other false teachings are unwelcome. If you are willing to look to the Bible alone for your beliefs, then we are certainly willing to discuss issues and show you where the Bible teaches what we believe. But if you are here to promote or defend Catholicm, we are not interested.

Psalms 119:104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

Psalms 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

So you don't care what I say, as long as I back it up with only Scriptural evidence?

I don't think you should be amazed. He's willing to read the Catechism into God's word. :roll

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2 Thess 2:15 (KJV)

True, for the leaders of the RCC Church has convinced their members from this verse that they have to listen to the leaders of the RCC to have the whole Word of God. That is, with only the Bible they do not have the whole truth of God.
