I'm with you sister. My wife started working at our church's Christian Academy as the Pre-4K teacher in August and my youngest daughter started 7th grade there (We homeschooled prior to this). Almost immediately the sickness started for both of them and has not ever really gone away. Because of my respiratory issues I am diligent with the D3 and Vitamin C so I was able stay surprisingly well until last Thursday. Been coughing up a lung since. It's not just us either and it's across all age groups. I don't know that I recall a year where there was so much sickness for so long.

Our church has seen an uptick in Covid as well. To make it worse, my wife's place of employment has also seen an uptick. We use D3, vitamins C, E, and Elderberry. We're praying for everyone this year. We lost a cousin last month where Covid-19 was a contributing factor. With my severe asthma and restrictive lung disease, I can't afford another go around with it. The last one came close to killing me.

I'm still getting over the flu. Mostly coughing fits now. The school I work at both staff and kids are dropping like flys with COVID, flu and Strep throat. We are always short-handed. I still haven't caught COVID again since I had that bad case of it back in 2021 but my quadruple vaxxed half sister has had it a few times now.

so i found out today I am + for c*vid. Too far in to it to be allowed to get an antiviral (imagine that), so I'll just keep using what I have here. That means my mom is + as well. She's too old for this! Four of our other members are +, with one other already being over it.

Asher's fever broke but it came back on him tonight. Not as high, but still - his parents are exhausted (and Josh is still fighting the sickness).

I also have another infection which is bacterial, so at least I got an antibiotic. Ugh, we're feeling punk!

So a gentleman came to church last  Wednesday while still sick with C*vid. Saturday my son got sick and still is. By Monday another man in the church tested + for it (I don't know if that's what Josh has). Monday night I got sick, Tuesday my mom did, now Asher has a fever, and another man in the church is getting sick.

Tonight my husband is at church alone. Because too many people are sick.

Please pray for us.

Same here. I got it from my daughter. Then my wife got it. I stayed home for a week.

Dexamethasone. It's a strong antiinflammatory and it's cheap. When they finally decided to treat me after my fourth visit to the hospital they gave me this and I was back on my feet in two days. I believe they wanted me to die because I refused the vax but I didn't cooperate. They actually wanted to give me the vax when I was suffering from the Fauci virus.

I hope you are doing well soon.

So many in our church are ill - there were only 5 at church this morning (and one of them was Asher). I wasn't able to be there...but hubs had to end the service early. He has been hit by the illness. PLEASE pray for him. Because the only ones who would likely be there tonight (hubs and son), hubs cancelled services. Please pray for our church.  Thank you.

(hubs was hit with it right in  the middle of his sermon)

We are all getting better. Hubs has a cold, so we are praying he will not get worse. This stuff is crazy! I cannot wait til we can all be together in church.

Glad everyone is on the mend. Here I have been down with bronchitis and pneumonia for almost 12 days but I am starting to gain ground against it. Prayers for you and your family and the church there. Blessings.

I have had bronchitis now too for 10 days. Not letting up. My left lung is pretty bad. They put me on an antibiotic to fight off any chance of getting pneumonia. This stuff doesn't seem to be going away. My wife and daughter have been coughing since just after school started in August. Students are now getting strep and stomach viruses. I don't ever recall a year like this.

Nor do I. As of 30 minutes ago I have been running a 101 temp and have started with a headache and chills. UGH! This back and forth weather hasn't helped. Running in and out with these 3 dogs hasn't helped. Thank the good Lord that Vivian is home today and tomorrow. We've got 2 friends and their families that have come down with fevers and chills just yesterday. Someone wanted me to run a home test for COVID, but I'm not likely to do that.

We use Air Power for our bronchial issues. It's a good product. I read about a recipe that claims to help brronchitis - mass a banana with some honey and a couple tablespoons of water (blend it together). Use it morning and night. I have no idea if it works, but if I had bananas, I would have made some for my hubs just for the nutrition.

I've got the banana's, the honey, and plenty of water. Might give that a try.

Thanks for the suggestions. Air Power sounds interesting. I'll likely get some for now and future illnesses. The banana recipe just sounds delicious; whether it works or not. One thing I use that seems to bring temporary relief is Breathe Easy Tea (from Traditional Medicinals) with a good dose of honey in the cup.

Still coughing up a lung this AM. Thank the Lord for livestream so I can still take in the church services.

Have a blessed Sunday!
