Sigh...I need wisdom!  I'm so glad for James 1:5 - "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."  I've been suffering from a bone spur on my neck, a partial tear in my shoulder, a torn ligament in my wrist, degenerative joint disease, osteoporosis, tendinitis, and bursitis.  I've been referred to an ortho-surgeon for my wrist and shoulder, but he doesn't do necks.  I need to make a decision about having the tears and bone spur treated at one time or whether to have just the tears treated.  Sigh...I'm truly not desiring to have anymore surgeries, but the pain that I've been in is disrupting my rest at night, and it has changed how I go about my days physically.  Anyway...if any should feel so led, please pray that I would know the Lord's leading, and take advantage of the situation to share my Saviour with whomever as He opportunes me to.  I greatly appreciate your prayers!

Your pain saddens me. My wife suffers from chronic pain and arthritis issues. She's had neck surgeries which has helped but there are no more surgeries which can be done for her neck so she will have to deal with chronic pain in that area. She's had two total knee replacements and is having problems with a shoulder too. Going through this with her I can greatly sympathize with you and will certainly lift you and your situation to the Lord in prayer.

May our gracious God send you comfort and peace along with wisdom.

I gave each of you a like and wish that I could do so with emphasis!  Your prayers, your kindness, your empathy, and your compassion are so wonderful...and even though it's all in text, I can still sense the presence of the blessed Spirit in your comments - towards me and towards each other.  I pray that the Lord will bless your Christ-likeness abundantly.  Thank you for all of your prayers on my behalf!!  I just got back a little bit ago from my regular doctor, and I have been referred to an ortho-surgeon who will treat all three of my issues.  That is a relief to me knowing that I won't have to go to multiple ortho's.  As moderators Mike and Jim know....we have a ways to drive to get to where the ortho's are...and so coordinating the issues with one doctor is great.  I will still need wisdom to make appropriate decisions as to the options of treatment that I might have.  I've had complications with surgeries in the past, and so I'm not real fond of that option....but need to be wise about considering it.  I will try to keep you updated as things progress....for your consideration and knowing better how to pray...and also because I long to testify of God's work and how glorious it is!

PS....Rosie...I'm praying for you and your situation too, dear sister!

Finally!  Last week I finally saw the orthopedic surgeon, and I am praising the Lord that at this time surgery is not in the picture! Yay! The ortho said that if I was 15 yrs old then I would've been a candidate for surgery.  I do have two tears in my arm/wrist...instead of one, and the tear in my shoulder, and bone spur on my neck...but the first thing I will do is have physical therapy to hopefully bring improvement.  I also need to wear a brace on my wrist.  So...thank you so much to all those that prayed for me!  Our God is glorious!!!

:) I can only just smile and look to the Lord and continue to remember II Cor. 4:15-18!  Now I have been referred to a cardiologist who specializes in "venous" issues.  I am having a lot of new pain in my poor ole worn out feet.  There is a vein problem that is most likely the "culprit".  I need prayer as I deal with the pain, the distance I have to travel to see specialists, and mostly....that I would recognize and take advantage of any opportunities He gives to share the glorious news of God's love with all that I cross paths with!

Thank you all for your kind words!  They are encouraging to me, and knowing that there are others out there truly lifting me up in prayer helps to strengthen me!  Thank you for helping me in the bearing of my burdens...as we all cast these things up to our precious Lord in prayer.  What a blessing it is to me!

(Jim...the cardiologist I've been referred to is in Redding.  I don't have the appointment yet, as I am waiting for them to call to set that up.  Medford is twice the distance for us.  Thank you soooooo much for your gracious offer to help!)

I will try to keep y'all up on my status as I find out things.  I'm trying to be prepared for the "worst"-case scenario, but greatly hopeful for the best, but more so....determined to trust my beloved Lord and lean on Him with confidence knowing that He knows and will perform what is best.  "For all things are for your sakes..." (II Cor. 4:15a).  :). He knows!
