Moderators Popular Post OLD fashioned preacher Posted September 21, 2015 Moderators Popular Post Share Posted September 21, 2015 I've started this five times and changed my mind four times over the last 2 days (under various titles and bodies). It's a fairly well established 'fact' that everyone knows how to run the business better than the owner, the county commission has only idiots on the board, any one of us can pastor better than our pastor, everything either gets done too soon, to late or not at all, etc. Some things on OB work themselves out, some get ironed out by OB members, some are only temporary frustration, some get discussed behind the scenes. Sometimes the rebuke is public, sometimes via warning, sometimes via PM. Some are done by Bro Matt, some are done without Bro Matt's knowledge subject to his reversal, some may even be done in spite of Bro. Matt (at the mod's own potential peril). I had an incident on the school bus once involving children from 3 families being written up. One of the mothers was LIVID!! She demanded to know if her child was the only one that got in trouble. I explained that the write-up that her son received was for his misbehavior, she persisted to ask if her child was somehow the only one in trouble. I explained to her that if anyone else had a disciplined child, they would not know of hers (as she would not know of theirs) unless either parent or child said something to another parent or child. What does that have to do with this? Sometimes, no one knows what goes on except staff and offender (sometimes not all of the mods know, unless it's fairly serious or we are asking advice). In this case 2 of the affected people came back to inform that they were being banned - Covenanter and Leonard. Others may or may not have been affected in one form or another. If an individual chooses to tell of a disciplinary action that's their prerogative, everybody here are adults. Just realize that MANY times the staff doesn't disclose every time we sneeze. 2bLikeJesus, wretched, Alan and 5 others

Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted September 21, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted September 21, 2015 Put a coaster or a napkin under that glass so you don't leave a ring on the furniture, clean up your mess and don't play the radio or TV too loud.BTW, diet soft drinks make you fat. Don't believe it, how many skinny diet drinkers do you see? trapperhoney, John81 and wretched

Members trapperhoney
it is a hard call to make, and I'm so glad others are there to make that call! there is something to be said for longsuffering, but there also comes a time when a stand has to be made. when there are those that seem intent on disruption and creating arguments, no one benefits from that. thank you! No, that's not the definition of "death", it's the definition of "embalmed" Pastor Scott Markle and No Nicolaitans
Members John81
I used to hate diet soda but now I prefer it. Most sweets I used to like to eat and drink taste way to sweet to me now. I used to love chocolate but now I prefer less chocolate because it seems too sweet. The same thing with otherwise "rich" desserts and such.I still love tea, but not with a white tornado of sugar mixed in like my sister makes! WAY too much sugar!!I've always drank my coffee black. Members Standing Firm In Christ
Just made a jug of tea earlier today. Will be adding sugar later. Most of the time, I drink my coffee black. But I do occasionally drink it with cream and sugar.
