And I'm totally jealous of you' date=' LAF, and you, PE, for having cheap milk in your area!!!!!!!! :Green[/quote']
That reminds me. :Green We get farm-fresh raw milk for $2.50 per gallon and jumbo brown eggs that are so huge the box barely closes for $1.25 to $1.35 per dozen. Raw milk is incredibly awesome, and healthful besides. You all should taste a strawberry-banana milkshake made from your own frozen strawberries and fresh raw milk. YOWZA!!!!!!!! It is astoundingly good. :Green :hungry:.

MMM, now that sounds delish!

I think strawberry-banana should have its own food group right next to chocolate-peanut butter!

Lori, pm/email me what coupons you want to get rid of and I'll see if we can do a trade.

Ok will do that tomorrow .I am off to sleep now .Have a good night

I totally agree. :thumb

Here is a recipe we use::::::

Two fully ripe bananas

1/2 pint box of frozen strawberries (for best reults these should be home-processed and not store-bought.)

2 Tablespoons clover honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

In a one-quart blender begin blending the two bananas. While they are blending on medium speed pour milk in a little at a time until the mix is smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients. Blend the mixture smooth and then turn the blender to its highest speed. With the machine still running and everything whirling violently but smoothly, remove the lid and pour milk directly into the vortex (i.e. the center of the whirlpool) until the level comes up to about 1/2 inch of the top lip of the blender-pitcher. Run this for about 30 more seconds. Put the lid back on and stop the blender. ENJOY!!!!!

Food Lion doesn't double but you should check with Kroger. As far as I know, Kroger's standard coupon policy is that they will double any coupon up to and including $.50. That means a $.50 coupon will double to $1.00. When you pair that savings with something that is on sale, you can get some really good deals. I went to Kroger's website and found that double coupon policy there so you should check with your local store and see if they honor that policy.

I only get the Sunday paper; I don't get it the rest of the week. They have a special Sunday only rate. I also only get it for the coupons and like I said earlier, the Dollar Tree sells them for $1.00 which is cheaper than delivery or a newspaper box.

dollar tree seem like they sell a day old newspaper, is that what you referring too? I'll look into it.

We used to have harris teeter but it closed down.

:badday: Fresh, raw milk is practically illegal in Alberta now. :verymad:

I wish we had the same stores and coupon deals as y'all have down there. I've never even heard of double or tripling coupons up here.

We go to our Tesco store about 9.00pm about once a week when the short dated food is "reduced for quick sale." sometimes we get it for one tenth the price, or less. About 9.15 they usually reduces it to pennies, then at 9.30 they throw it in the trash. Last week they didn't do the final reduction, just disposed of it.
