Remembering that we are dealing with snails -- this took 30 minutes and transitioned 12 inches on the horizontal plane and 3 inches vertically.

However Dr. Seuss would be rolling in his grave, (if that were possible, that is), if this story came into his mind, it would have driven him into the loony bin, ...like, ..right now...

the challenge is on - can the snails destroy the earth's life support system by simple eating it, before man destroys it by more sophisticated means?

However, after attempting to devour all they could, the snails realized they were thirsty. Unfortunately for them, they had made their way to Utah...the only water available was the Great Salt Lake.

No worries. Snails rely on moisture in the greenery they devour.
