http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/principal-sees-racism-in-peanut-butter.html

An Oregon grade school principal suggested in a newspaper interview that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches might be racially and culturally offensive.

“What about Somali or Hispanic students who might not eat sandwiches?” Verenice Gutierrez told the Portland Tribune.

:tapping:  Stupid, stupid people.

Yeah, I heard this one a while back. Supposedly Hispanics don't eat peanut butter and jelly sammiches so it's racist to assume they do. This stuff has to be invented by white liberal college professors and teachers. I doubt the Hispanics or Somalis ever even considered it.

Yeah, well what about spam!
It shouldn't be allowed either!
I don't like it! :knuppel:

God bless,
Larry

Spam becomes almost consumable if it is sliced thinly, pan fried to within an inch of it's life till its crispy, and smothered in tomato sauce.

Only then is it allowed to be served to prisoners of war under the Geneva Convention.

Straight out of the tin it used only by the fiercest and cruelest of secret interrogators.

Foolishness abounds in the hearts of the lost.  They need the Gospel, desperately.

Amen! Whenever these stories show up Christians in the area should make it a point to witness to those involved.

In some areas that would keep Christians very busy!

Peanut-butter is not allowed in public schools in Arkansas. Because there's to many student nowadays that's highly allergic to it. Those who are allergic to peanut-butter even smelling it can be deadly. And children that bring lunch from home are not allowed to bring peanut-butter sandwiches.

I would have thought it was that way in all states by now, & that would not have come up. I believe it was about 4 to 8 years back that all peanut-butter had to be removed from school lunch rooms.

How odd: It sems they are using segregation to advance equality. Wasn't IN-tegration suppose to bring about equality? So now we have African-American clubs and Hisanic clubs and Asian clubs and women's clubs, but a white club? RACIST!

You know, back when white privelidge was really a thing, somehow or another folks like George Washington Carver and Hiram Revels, Joseph Hayne Rainey, and Blanche Kelso Bruce, (the last three were Afrincan American Republican congressmen from the 1870"s). How odd that these people, who came from SERIOUSLY different backgrounds from whites, could yet so well succeed!

It's the difference between those few who are willing to do what's necessary to succeed and those who choose to whine, complain, hold their hands out and relish living as a "victim".

And many of those that chose to do what is necessary will use any means to get ahead, & there's plenty of this in this USA. As for me I rather be like Lazarus having nothing.

WE don't have peanut butter, but a local store says that is good to use it in mouse traps, because mice love it.

And that's completely twisting what I had said, and John had replied to. we weren't speaking of covetousness, but about people excelling in spite of what is perceived to be their 'situation', because they were willing to work hard to succeed.

The reference I made was to those blacks who, despite slavery still being active, or just barely ending, managed to gain an education, often educating themselves, and being voted into the United States Congress. I have a poster of seven black congressmen, all Republicans, from a painting done in about 1877. The point being, these men excelled because they worked hard, they 'did what was necessary', (ie, worked hard) to succeed, compared to these schools who are insisting that blacks and hispanics can't excel if they are made to work alongside whites, and somehow, this is supposed to be 'progressive'.

Indeed mice do love peanut butter.
