This is from just a few hours ago: "UPDATE: My grandfather just passed away. I pray that mom's reading of scripture to him and all the prayers were a means for the Spirit to give life to his soul while his body was perishing. Otherwise, it is immensely frightening to think what is happening now. Thank you all for your prayers, they were more precious than gold. To God be the glory in all things. Amen."

Thank you, all, for praying. I hope he turned to Christ in his last moments.

It's a scary thing when we don't know where a dying person is headed, even more frightening when we know it's the wrong way. At least in this case there is that bit of hope.
