Just joined the forum and looking forward to some interesting discussions.

I am a pastor of a Independent Baptist Church in Scotland and I also am keenly interested in Baptist History. I have even set up my own site about Baptist history. :thumb:

Welcome from England, from an FIEC church leader.

Your pen-name booklet makes interesting reading, as a potted history of those practising believers' baptism. Baptism casts doubt on the faith of the paedOBaptists, who are confident in their 'family Christianity' rather than a living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The plague of the world religions is family & national religion, regardless of faith & life.

I just received my new book in today from the Sword of Lord called, "Revive Us Again - Chronological Anthology of American Gospel Hymnody" by Douglas Alvin Snow.

I can already tell this 800 plus page work is going to be a gem that the wife and I will enjoy for years. One of the first things the author starts with in the Introduction was about the Trail of Blood work that was done and how Baptists are not Protestants. I'm thinking there is going to be much Baptist history in this work.

Peace! TRC

P.S. To further my amazement at the low cost ($31.99) of this work was the actual signature of the author in the first blank page of the book. Just awesome.
