I am back obvisoly(sp). I am really tired now though. I went to camp that was the best camp ever and then the next week I went to youth Conference which I think was the best of the three years I went to. It was a awkward youth conference though. I will explain later I have to go eat.

Wow! this is all happening really quick. My dad is my assistant pastor along with my youth pastor. He and my pastor have been talking for about a month now about closing the church. My dad keeps me enformed on this kind of stuff. I never really thought that it would happen. Then this weekend I spent the weekend at my pastor house it was his sons birthday and I usually go over for it. This year I'm in an english class. The problem is that the teacher is really popular becaus ehe always makes jokes, but he's a far left liberal who bashes Christianity. He said he'd rather be in hell because "it's a big party, and heaven is boring". Everyone laughed and that made me uncomfortable. He thinks faith is irrational and he is pretty confident in his beliefs. He also said that "religion has a hold on so many people that keeps them from accepting new ideas". What should I do?

As I am an adult and married, it is harder to find Christian penfriends. The problems I'm encountering is that when I look online for penfriends there are a lot of people who want supposed 'friendship' but they don't want to have anything to do with the interests I list. I list "Bible Study" as the main interest but most of the people responding to me want a friend. The rest of them want someone to host them coming to my country or they want to beg or ask for money. People who want to call me or show up at my house un-announced are not welcome because I think that penfriends should stay penfriends because I can't check up on people miles and miles away. Next week I am going to youth camp and the next week I am suppose to go to youth conference if I raise the rest of my money which doesn't seem to proomising. I am suppose to be able to chose between the two but because of unmentionable events I will chose camp first which bugs me because I would rather go to youth conference. This is the last time I can get on until I get back. :cry: I just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers that have gone up fo Grandpa. It has been and will be an extremely difficult battle and path. One of which I do not wish to go down again. It is a roller coaster ride. I just wanted to say goodbye. I am going as a counselor with our jr aged campers to Camp Victory in Sommerset Ky. I don't know if I will be on before we leave on Mon or not so if not bye!! I was on here before the 20th but was to busy to post this. The 20 of may was my dads ordination. Part of me was happy and excited but the other part was selfish and did not want it to happen because I know that this means that in a matter of time we will be looking for our own church and possibly be moving away and have to leave my school(which I don't want to do since I will be in 10 grade technically now that schools out and have been there since the 3rd grade). I know that seems selfish but I guess that is the flesh holding me back. Anyway I thought I would share the good news with you. IT is a joyous thing for our family.

They did read the catscan right 3 of his tumors shrank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D He still has 40+ tumors that have not but still!!! He has lung infections and his sugar has been around 400. They are very concerned it should be around 110

I really have no idea of what to put. I said before grandpa's test results came back really good. They re did the catscan they think they read it wrong. Grandpa has been having really bad headaches. The type of cancer he has goes to the brain and bones. This is a really scary time especially since my aunt passed away three years ago with cancer that went to the brain. We also had a friend pass away Sat (Chris Shinkle) with cancer so. :( She had four children

Ohio had a trifecta President Trump, Senator Moreno (R) replaced Brown (D), and NO on issue 1! From what I hear the nation also has a trifecta of republicans for president, senate, and house. I hope the opportunity isn't squandered. -
Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
