Study links sex on TV to teen pregnancy http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/11/03/teen.pregnancy/index.html Violent video games linked to child aggression http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/family/11/03/healthmag.violent.video.kids/index.html When I was youth pastor we used to teach the teenagers that this was the GIGO principle, "Garbage In, Garbage Out." Very few people seem to understand this truth; even Christians who insist that what comes into the mind can not corrupt it........got news for you, Satan does use it to corrupt our lives..........

This is different from the "Who Wins?" Poll, because that's just a guess on who's going to win and a lot of people here picked Obama, even though I know most of them aren't going to vote for him (obviously). I'm just curious... who are people on OB voting for? You can vote anonymously here on this poll, or you can vote and post your answer! :cool We've got about 55 days till election day... and we all know enough about the candidates by now... so take your pick! (btw, I set it so that you can change your vote if you want to, just in case someone changes their mind on who they want to vote for before the election gets here) Oh, and I picked McCain/Palin... just …

I'm very surprised by the tiny number of respondents to this thread: http://onlinebaptist.com/messageboards/ ... 70#p395970 Most members have expressed their intent to vote (or have voted) and express their desire that America were not so wicked and would love to see revival. All that being the case then we should be united in prayer for Christ is the answer and His Father has promised to act if His people rightly call to Him. Please visit the thread and respond if the Holy Ghost so moves your heart.

Our older dog we got at Wal-Mart parking lot. It had a massively extended belly and the vet called it a rescue, even though the people who were giving the puppies away said they were trying to breed them, but got too busy. She still suffers from a malformed rib cage due to the malnourishment she experienced as a pup. Our second dog was a 2-year-old stray someone picked up, but didn't have room for. We took it because it was a small dog and I knew my daughter would love having a dog of her own. We were very surprised how little "space" a small dog takes. He's extremely timid, the result of life on the streets. He's also very grateful for a loving home. Our new dog, we…

I was listening to the Revival Conference down in Atlanta and heard this sermon preached on Wednesday night by Paul Washer. http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=17378&commentView=itemComments I was really touched by it and hope that many others will hear this important message. It is about 2 hours long, so be prepared to listen for a while. It is even cut off at the end, but they are working on getting the video together and published to the web. (I don't totally agree with Paul Washer, but he is right in this sermon. :thumb )

Where can I find a child size coverall? I should mention that I don't want to order from the internet. I just like to know which store is more likely to carry a child coverall.

Cold. Growing up, I've always remember Fall being cold. but for the last few years, it have been feeling like summer. Lately, it is been cold like I remember it. Maybe we will get more snow this year! I hope so because I love snow. It hardly snowed for the past few years either, and I was beginning to miss it.

He will be in our church tonight (I hope I am feeling well enough to go). I remember when I was in 1st grade, he came in and told us the story of "RinderCella" (Cinderella, but the letters in some words were moved around.)

Just read this on a weather site: Anyone care to do the math, assuming evolution would be correct, on where the moon would have been a billion years ago? LOL....

What is it that causes distractions for you during church that people can be aware of so as not to bother you? This goes for interpreters as well as other church members. -this is not to bash anyone, it is meant to be a help to others-

I saw in the local paper on the front page of one of the sections some of the "best" "in" halloween costumes... One of them was called "the fundamentalist" and was a young lady dressed in a long dress with long hair. :uuhm: I guess that just goes to show how much of the devils day it is, fundamentalists ladies with long hair and in long dresses are what is scary? In all fairness they "might" have made the costume as a reaction to the mormon fundamentalist issue earlier this year, but still... it isn't like the ladies did anything to anyone....

Hey can you help me find some scriptural referances where other people are used to change the path of someone else? To bring them back to where they are supposed to be. For some reason I am drawing a blank.

OCTOBER ? BEWARE OF CANCER AWARENESS MONTH By Betty Freauf October 26, 2008 NewsWithViews.com A 1969 speaker at a Pediatric Conference in New York City said, ?Cancer cures would be suppressed as a means of population control. We can cure almost every cancer right now. The information on this subject can be found in the Rockefeller Institute if it?s ever decided that it should be released. But consider this, if people stop dying of cancer, how rapidly we would become overpopulated. You may as well die of cancer as something else.? So it was decided in order to save ?Mother Earth? we must kill human beings or form relationships that can?t procreate. The decade of t…
