Mine was a 90 Dodge Omni. It was OK other than the occasional stalling when in traffic. When you live in a city that is often. What was your first car?

I am "rightymo" on another forum that I frequent; I write under a few different names, and post regularly on a KJV only forum. I thought that many of you might like the post "Quips from Hosea" on my "Morning Musings" blog; Hosea has many "preachable" quips that are very practical for every day living. There are several on the "Morning Musings" blog. the url is: "Musings-rightymo.blogspot.com" Please feel free to check it out. Also, I write a blog called "Crumbs from the Master's Table" at: "rightymo.blogspot.com". I had one for veterans too, but discontinued it for now, due to a seeming lack of interest. These are all KJB only, and hopefully can be a blessin…

Who has been providing data for policy in Washington? The Urban Institute is just one of many organizations funded by your tax dollars providing information which leaders use to base legislation. http://www.urban.org/about/ I don't know what Johnson's intent was for his original idea. Most likely it wasn't the following. However, these people do receive tax dollars in funding their research. http://www.urban.org/publications/411437.html http://www.urban.org/expert.cfm?ID=GaryGates Gary Gates appears to be a sodomite flag waver. I didn't find any reference to him voicing his personal preference. No wonder the tail is wagging the dog. No wonder we stand in …

This video shows the winner of 2009's " Ukraine 's Got Talent", Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II. Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch. The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about $75,000. She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is OBliterated. It is replaced by a woman's face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again…

For normal, everyday readings of the Bible, how exactly do you read it? Do you read it cover to cover? Follow a reading plan? Old Testament in the AM, New Testament in the PM? Just open the Bible randomly and read wherever you land? I normally read it cover to cover for daily reading.

Juan Williams is both a FOX news contributor and host for some of NPRs primary programs! Wait...FOX-NPR isn't that like fire and water attempting to mix? Or, possibly Mr. Williams is a fair and balanced person. Any opinions?

I have been listening to sermons about prayer lately and they have been focusing on the way in which we should pray. I realize that prayer is important and infact vital to our walk with the Lord and try to practice more sincere and meaningful prayer in my life. These messages have been a eye opener for me as of late and have got me wondering. Does anybody have any advice or anything in particular that they have discovered in their prayer life that has made them a stronger prayer warrior that they would like to share?

My Hope is not a Hope with a Doubt Yet many never find this true Hope which many of us have found, they never find the confidence that God has truly given His children, that He wants His children to have. He has showed us through the writings of Paul that this hope is not a hope with a doubt. 2Ti 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Notice the confidence that Paul expressed to Timothy. It is not a matter of doubt, it is the matter that Paul knows whom He has believed and he knows that which he…

No sinner ever exceeded their purchase price. "For ye are bought with a price..." Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, I sometimes wondered how much of that precious blood was shed for my redemption. The conclusion I'm leaning toward is all of it. I'm a poor excuse for merchandise so highly valued. Lord make me a worthy acquisition. Help me to grow in value in 2010.

An 87-Year-Old's Economic Survival Guide by Chuck Norris 02/24/2009 An old Spanish proverb says, "An ounce of mother is worth a pound of clergy." I believe that value holds, in or out of a recession. And seeing as my 87-year-old mother lived through the Great Depression, I think her value (and that of those like her) will increase through these tough economic times because her insider wisdom can help us all. Mother was about 10 years old when her eight-member family endured the thick of those recessive days in rural Wilson, Okla., which only has a population of 1,600 today. The recurring droughts across the heartland during that period dried up the job market,…
