Please pray, my husband's mother tried to commit suicide today, using some strong drugs. Would have succeeded if nobody had found her when they did. As of now she is on a ventilator in ICU but her bloodwork looks ok and she should probably pull through. There are alot of family and financial problems surrounding this as well, that will have to be worked out...its more complicated than just the attempted suicide. So please pray for her, and for the family and for my husband during this time, especially as she lives far away from us. Thanks!

My son's friend Jake is being deployed in January. He's still not saved. He will be coming to our "I Love America Day" this Sunday. This will be the first time we've seen him since finishing his training. Please pray that he gets saved. I just don't want to see him head over there without Christ!!! Thanks.

Well After much prayer and indecision I finally got my website up and running to put on the back of the In 100 years tracts http://www.afterdeathwhat.com I decided to go with http://www.baptistwebsite.com for my hosting rather giving them the money then some other company. I can't really say I got it running I have had lots of help from Bro. Allen from http://www.thekingsforum.com/index.php Please check out the site and pray that it will be used greatly. It is in it's infancy stage right now so any ideas suggestion will help. For now it will be geared mainly towards lost people God bless. :)

If you could just keep praying for my son Andrew when you think of it...he turned 3 in March. He is okay, but we've been fighting this chronic urticaria (hives) since late June/early July 2007. There is nothing external causing it, its pretty much autoimmune...although he is on a fairly strict diet (not from the dr, drs don't think food helps or hurts urticaria, but it DOES...preservatives and acids make him much worse) his meds are slowly losing effectiveness. Its just been a long 15 months, and sometimes stressful. I have a new appreciation for those families dealing with food allergy...while he doesn't have allergy, he still has to avoid foods...and going out to e…

Will you guys please pray for Chelsea who was kicked out of her home after she shoved her sister. I admitt hat shoving her sister was wrong, but kicking her sister out of the house was going overboard. :loco :thumbdown I also do not believe that Chelsea or her folks, siblings are saved. I'm going to the Korean embassy tomorrow afternoon for my visa application and interview. I already have my visa issuance number and a flight booked for Thursday. The lady at the embassy told me they typically take three days to process, which means I would have to change my flight. I would appreciate your prayers that, if it's God's will, they would issue me the visa tomorrow and then that I would have a safe trip on Thursday. :smile

Well, I haven't yet heard from the first church but there was a lot of flooding in the area so the letter may not have been sent yet or it is still in the Post Office or at the bottom of a creek. BUT, Thursday I got a letter from another church in the area that is considering me and today I sent a resume to a church in Greenville thanks to a preacher friend. SO that is 3 contacts in two weeks which is more than I have had in a long time so we shall see where this all goes. The one in Greenville might be the best one in some respects but God knows the best one. Prayer is desired and needed!

I was diagnosed yesterday will Bells Palsy. It started out Tuesday with no taste in my mouth and after I woke up from napping with baby I couldn't close my left eye with my right eye staying open and I didn't have full function of the left side of my lips. I woke up yesterday with the left side of my face being paralyized. When I blink my left eye doesn't move, I need to tape it shut at night or when I start to feel it getting dry. I need to tape and use artifical tears so I don't get an corneal infection. I have to hold my lips closed when I drink through a straw, I need to have baby bites when I eat so I don't choke since I only have control over half my mouth. I know t…

Tonight my wife was telling me about one of her nephew's testimonies she read that he had to write for confirmation. I know that the majority of not all Lutherans believe in a works based salvation but to hear a 13 years old talk about going to church so they have a better chance of heaven is very sad I feel just sick right now. Well, it's been a super great summer at home, but all super great things must come to an end. Tomorrow is the big day for our return trip to China, and I would GREATLY appreciate your prayers for us as we make this trip and get settled in our apartment again - especially since we've got a new baby along with our toddler now. I'm very nervous about everything! We've got a lot of packing to do today yet too. I better get busy!

Please remember my dad Audrie Poe in prayer..... he had a mole removed, and they found out that it is melanoma (a form of skin cancer) he will have to have surgery so that they can determine the stage that it is in. Please pray. At this point we really just have to wait and see what the stage is, and what course of treatment he will need. Please pray for me as well, I am not doing so well with the news.... Yesterday, in oklahoma a crew from Chickasha was taking a train from wichita ks. to Chickasha ok. enroute they hit a propane truck everyone was killed. I am a 31 year old father of two children. My little girl is 5 and my son is 3. I have a wonderful wife also. A couple of weeks ago I got laid off from my job. Well, our baby's due date is just a few days off, and I'd sure appreciate your prayers! I'm SO nervous about it since we're wanting the birth to be a VBAC this time around. I felt a few small contractions yesterday and it made me dread what's ahead for me. I can't wait til the delivery is over and I'm holding our new little girl in my arms! Some friends of the family have a diner they've been runing for about a year or so. The husband works full time and the wife already had a categring business when they added this diner to their load. My son is working for them bussing tables and washing dishes. The diner has now become too much of a burdon and they are looking to get out from under it. We are asking prayer for Alex, aged 16, who last week received his exam results which were extremely good, most were A+ the rest were A. The following day had a massive heart attack and rushed to Alderhey Hospital in Liverpool England. He is unconscious, and on life support in intensive care.

The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. -

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue.
