(Isa 65:24) And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Those are the words of very God telling us that He will answer prayers at times even before they are asked. In my case He has done that for me in a rather large way. The type of cancer I have is very rare. It is highly unusual to find a surgeon that has any experience with it. However, God being God, He sent me such a man. When I first met this surgeon I asked him if he were familiar with this type of cancer. He said he had removed a number of these type of tumors. I asked him quite a few questions that only a person with kno…

I lost my mother's punch ladle. I used it at my church's adult Christmas fellowship (my wife and I have served the punch there for the last 3 years). Oh, it's not the great ladle - you know silver with gold edges and diamonds on the handle - it was plastic. My mother wants to use it for the family get together on Saturday. I have been looking all over my house, church, and even in my van trying to find it. But, alas, I have not found it. Today, on my way home from work, I stopped in a thrift store to see if they had any "Great Harvest" bread brought in that day. Great Harvest donates their day old bread to this thrift store, and the thrift store just asks for…

Praise the Lord that we had 16 people saved after our Christmas Cantata this weekend. I don't have an exact number, but we had around 30 people who made other decisions as well.

 These are the days of Elijah Declaring the Word of the Lord And these are the days of your servant Moses Righteousness being restored And these are the days of great trials Of famine and darkness and sword Still we are the voice in the desert crying Prepare ye the way of the Lord! Behold He comes! Riding on the clouds! Shining like the sun! At the trumpet call Lift your voice! It's the year of Jubilee! Out of ZIon's hill slavation comes! And these are the days of Ezekiel The dry bones becoming as flesh! And these are the days of your servant David Rebuilding the temple of praise And these are the days of the harvest The field…

Nice to be back.. Last week I read something that an acquaintance had written regarding his life and his salvation in Christ. I met this person over 2 years ago and recall him and his friends being so immersed in worldly culture and none of them were saved when I knew them. I remember praying that God would save them and do amazing things in their lives and to find out that 2 years later both him AND his friends whom I prayed for are all saved and attending church/bible study... it's just so awesome. They are attending a pentecostal church in Adelaide so it's a little  but praise God they are saved and professing Christ!!! God can save ANYONE!!!

I usually have to work evenings and am not able to go to any services we have during the week. This week, as they do every year, my church planned a Praise service in place of the weekly prayer service. Alot of people travel for Thanksgiving so the have on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. I didn't plan to be there since I work evenings, but last week the girl who works overnights on Thursdays asked me if I'd work for her because she is having a housefull on Thanksgiving. I said yes, so she said she would work Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for me. So I got to go to church tonight, and it was a great time of fellowship.

Our pastor called in to our Sunday evening service tonight to report on what has happened over the past two weeks during his missions trip to the Philippines. Last Sunday, he preached in a church in Southern Manila that had about 15,000 people in the service. They had worked hard for several months inviting folks for the special day. Over 1,200 first time visitors came for the service and the Lord saved 951 people. He preached in one of their extention churches today, and they had over 500 first time visitors. They hadn't yet received an official count of the number saved by the time he called in to our service. By the way...there isn't anything "wi…

Praise God! I am back to my Fundamentalist Baptist roots! By the way, if you see a new name around here, don't feel too confused. I am considering getting my name changed on here to something without Paladin in it as it has offended one person on here in the past.

Some of you already know from reading my blog but for those of you who don't, the Lord has really been working lately. Not just lately, really, but manifesting it to me more. I had applied back around May for a Korean ministry opportunity this March to which I was accepted. The rough gist of what it would be is a six month trip(or longer) to Korea to minister to the Korean people through teaching English, homeschooling and other projects. It also would include a two week ministry and sight seeing trip to China all expense paid for everything. However, after getting a new job in June and my parents wanting me to have a degree first, I saw the initial death of my visio…

My wife and I work in the deaf ministry at First Baptist Church, Rosemount, MN. My wife does a lot of interpreting, and I get to interpret for the deaf men once a month for the men's missions prayer time. Two years ago, our first regular deaf couple started coming to church, and we have seen some deaf people come and go throughout this time. But, this year has been different. Since January, we have seen 8 deaf people get saved, and 3 of their children also. A deaf couple that have been living together (both of them got saved this year) decided to honor God, and they got married. We now have 11 deaf members who come on Sunday mornings, and about 4-5 that come Sunday…

Our annual fall fest. at our church went very well! We had 410 people our goal was 400. It wasn't really about the numbers it was more about getting the gospel out . We had 4 people accept Jesus as their Savior, praise the Lord!! That was the main goal , just to see another soul saved.Thank you to all who responded to my prayer request that I posted.

Have you ever thanked God for the "nice to haves" in your life? Several months ago, my garage door opener was fried in an electical storm. We could open the garage door from any remote, but to close it, you had to stand inside the garage and hold the button on the wall until the door was all the way closed. Then, you needed to go out the side door to leave the garage. Not much use of a garage door like this so we havent' been parking our van in our garage for all this time. Well, two Sundays ago, I looked at the ads in my paper and saw a garage door opener on sale for $100 and told my wife we are going to buy it. She asked me where we would get the money. I told …

My Dad was very nearly in what would probably have been a life threatening accident today. He was just starting to pass some farm vehicles when one of the trucks hauling a trailer he was beside as he was passing suddenly veered into his lane! Hitting the brakes would have caused a crash so Dad had to let his truck drop into the ditch as he gave it gas. The front of the truck stayed on the top of the ditch as the rear of the truck slid farther into the ditch. When Dad finally got the truck out of the ditch and shot in front of that truck that ran him off the road there was only about a foot between them and crashing. I thank God for protecting my Dad and keeping him s…

Talked to my mom the other night( We have been in Chattanooga for my Birthday) She told me that my brother was in his house the other day, and smelled something like burnt toast... come to find out a wire in his attic was "hot". they had to call the fire dept to come out, but thankfully it was contained in the attic. They had to turn off all of the electricity in the house until they can get the attic re-wired. They are staying with my mom and dad. Thabkfully his wife and daughter were not home at the time, and that a full fire did not break out. :sing:

I stay in a townhouse with a co-worker and roommate of mines and now we can be at peace. I just found out that our neighbor below me is moving out. Our neighbor has been bumping the music and banging the walls for the longest time, keeping us awake all night. The Landlord told me this today and I have been praying for this for soooo long. I am so happy, thank you Jesus!!!     Love, Madeline

not anything overly specific, just that i got the chance to stand up for the Word of God yesterday at work. I believe the Lord is working in my boss' heart! I finally got the chance to witness to her about her sinful condition, and how that God's Word is not to be ignored. Hopefully it will encourage her to read the Bible. I just want to thank and praise Him for giving me the opportunity to speak for Him. To tell someone of His Love! My precious precious Lord. How good He is to this undeserving sinner.

We had a big bushfire come through our place yesterday afternoon after church, but our house is intact and God really worked to protect both our property and all of my family (including my two big sisters who were visiting, one of whom is pregnant). I am so grateful for His protection and care for us. (More details of the fire to follow.)

The Burger King that I was supposed to start working at was robbed last Saturday. Saturday was supposed to be the day I started working again, but I asked to push it back a week because I was behind on some school work. I would have started at 6, and the robbery happened about 6:10. Praise the Lord that he kept me out of that situation! :sing:

Much prayer for them..anyway, the devil kept throwing things in their path on Sunday mornings..like last sunday my bro was backing the van outta the garage, and the garage door emergency cord caught on the ski rack and brought the garage door down on the van and got stuck....grrrr so much trouble! well, anyway, praise the LORD they were in church today and worshipping Him, and I am just sooo glad about that!
