In dirt? Sans? Clay? Mud? ......or Rock?

What you asked was on the page I liked to.

Dinosaur Discoveries
The largest find of dinosaur trackways in the world was discovered by SMU archaeology graduate student Brad Pittman in a quarry north of the town in 1983, the site of a prehistoric beach.[28][29][30] A field of 5-10,000 sauropodfootprints were found in a mudstone layer covering a layer of gypsum.[31] Casts 65 feet (20 m) long and 7 feet (2.1 m) wide were made and put on permanent display, first at the courthouse and finally at the Nashville City Park, while many of the original tracks were disbursed to local museums such as the Mid-America Museum in Hot Springs, Arkansas and the Arkansas Museum of Discovery in Little Rock. The full extent of the trackway has never been excavated.

Just what I thought.

Like I said, the remains of ancient cities, which are several thousand years old, have been excavated. All of the buried skeletal human and animal remains found in them were actual bone....Not only that, but archaeologists, paleontologists are digging all over the world, as we speak, and remains are being found and investigated whenever they are discovered in construction sites. If the planet is only 6000 years old, and we are finding actual bone skeletons going back that far, why are we not finding whole or at least partial dino skeletons consisting of actual bone? You do realize that bear and other big animals die in the wild all the time but it's very rare to come across their bones?

Also, there are numerous animals whose bones have never been found as well as some that have never been found in fossil form.

None of this changes what the Word of God says regarding creation or the work of Noah.

Don't try to setup a strawman. You should know by now that I hold to the Word of God.
We're talking about buried bones.

I didn't read the whole thread but my dad is pretty much a self-made geologist and has personally unearthed hundreds of fossils out west on his own time, as well as minerals and gemstones. He also teaches classes on Creation vs. Evolution.

Dinosaur bones are real.... without question most fossils, also "fossil fuels" were created during the flood. Other fossils have been created through volcanoes but fossils take heat and extreme pressure to form. Ever wonder why there are so many fish fossils in the western deserts? The flood. Frozen mammoths? The water vapor canopy plunging to earth and the poles received a deep-freeze as WELL as flood waters, which are still there, frozen in time! Caves....water.....ever look at the mountains from an airplane? You can see where a long time ago, water ran down the sides and receded. Our landscapes were carved out by floodwaters....the fossils caused by the earth breaking apart and burying so many things. We can thank the flood for our oil and coal reserves today. All it is, is compressed biological material from the flood.

I also believe the Bible is quite literal in its description of leviathan and behemoth, and the fossils bear this out.

Dinosaurs prOBably died out after the flood because the weather was now drastically different...no more greenhouse effect from the water vapor canopy...no more gentle mists...now, harsh temperatures and rains and storms and snow. They could not survive, although a few giant species still survived deep in the ocean prOBably for much longer.

Almost every scientific question regarding origins and geology can be explained via the Great Flood.

No strawman or attempt to question your holding to Scripture. Simply pointing out that none of this can be taken to proclaim there were no dinosaurs at any particular period of time.

Discovery backs theory oil not 'fossil fuel'
New evidence supports premise that Earth produces endless supply

Its amazing to me just how much of what they call fossil fuel they're pumped out from below the surface of this earth and are still pumping. So did it really come from where some claims it did? It would be more believable if this earth was 300 million years old as some claim, but its not.

Yes, walking through the woods one hardly ever sees a dead animal or bird, usually when you see one its on the road and has been hit by a car or truck.

Of course the buzzards and crows are eating those by and on the road, so I would suppose they eat the ones in the woods so they are not often seen. Seems God made this world self cleaning more or less.

I read some about this awhile back.

How many dead animals would it have taken to furnish all the oil that has already been pumped from below the surface? Keep in mind that one animal does not furnish very much oil, and of course many were eaten by vulture's, crows, and other animals, so they never had the opportunity to get covered up and turned into oil.

It's no stretch to believe that God created the earth "ready made" to provide all our needs.

True...but also remember....the lifespan before the flood was almost 10 times longer than it is today! And things grew larger and more healthy, and lived longer. So for 2000 years from Creation to the flood, things grew and flourished and lived VERY long lives. The earth was FULL of people and animals and foliage (greenhouse type). All these things were destroyed during the flood. I don't think we really understand what a catastrophic event the flood really was....saying it "rained for 40 days and 40 nights" doesn't even skim the surface of what really happened.

Very well put. I enjoy collecting fossils and it's a great reminder of Noah's day. There were indeed dinosaurs roaming the Earth the same time as man.

No doubt! Even if God created the earth "ready made" doesn't mean the Flood didn't have dramatic effects.
