This turned out to be a pretty good and peaceful day. I had a great time in prayer after dinner. Then I enjoyed some good reading time and even managed a small nap in there.

when I got home from Christmas shopping the electricity was off so i had to wait a few hours before fixing supper.... got it almost done... no Christmas rush here...I bought a Citizen watch from Kohl's back on 06.. the same watch today cost $425!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..guess I'll keep the old one awhile longer...

I bought my watch in 1999 or 2000 and paid 20-some dollars for it.

I have a whole baggie full of watches that just need batteries. Easier to buy a new watch than get someone to help you at jewelry counter at Walmart!

I've tried to get backs off them and do it myself, but can't! I figured I could buy batteries on ebay for 99 cents and do it myself.

no instructions came with the watch but it does work....

Batteries last a lot longer now than they did years ago. It used to be a wonder if I would get a full year out of a watch battery but now they last for much longer than that. Still, I miss the old wind up watches.

 

The last time my watch battery went out I was in WalMart, close to the jewelry counter and there was actually someone working there! So, after noticing my watch had stopped, I walked right over to the lady at the counter and got my battery replaced quickly.

My 13 year old grandson shot his first Buck yesterday!  I swear he is walking 5 inches taller now.
