So far I don't think I've seen a professing Christian (at least not one that I know of) dressed in their PJs in public, but it really won't surprise me that much if I do. Most of the professing Christians follow the trends of the world, maybe a little behind the world, but they do seem to eventually follow.

In this world its impossible to tell a Christina by looking at the way they're dressed.

I say that because of the way I have seen many dress that claims to profess Christ as Savior. Or lack of dress.

No doubt most professing Christians look like the world and often sound like the world.

It's amazing how often I will hear someone say "I never knew they were a Christian" or "I never knew they went to church". It seems as if many professing Christians work real hard to keep their Christianity a secret.

It's like those pastors who brag about people saying they're not really like a preacher, more like a regular person. How is hearing that a real compliment for a pastor or something to brag about? From the worldly perspective yes, but from the biblically perspective, no!

Most pastors that I know of seem to try their best to be popular in this world, & try as best they can to never say anything that might offend anyone causing them to have the least bit of convictions.

Yes, there are some pastors that if you didn't already know they were pastors, you would never figure it out from seeing them out and about or talking with them.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ..."

Amen!

I don't know if you are familiar with an old saying from some years ago where someone would greet another with "What's the word?", but in university some Christian friends and I kind of revived that greeting for ourselves. When we would meet one another we would ask, "What's the word?", and the reply was always, "Jesus is the Word!"

People would notice that and on some occasions it even opened the door to share the Gospel.

Jesus is all the world to me, my life, my joy, my all;
He is my strength from day to day, without Him I would fall.
When I am sad, to Him I go, no other one can cheer me so;
When I am sad, He makes me glad, He’s my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, my Friend in trials sore;
I go to Him for blessings, and He gives them over and o’er.
He sends the sunshine and the rain, He sends the harvest’s golden grain;
Sunshine and rain, harvest of grain, He’s my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, and true to Him I’ll be;
O how could I this Friend deny, when He’s so true to me?
Following Him I know I’m right, He watches o’er me day and night;
Following Him by day and night, He’s my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, I want no better Friend;
I trust Him now, I’ll trust Him when life’s fleeting days shall end.
Beautiful life with such a Friend, beautiful life that has no end;
Eternal life, eternal joy, He’s my Friend.

Had a strange episode with my heart so they are running some tests to see if it's actually my heart or something else. Besides that and the headache I currently have, I'm doing well. I got my yard mowed for the third time this year.
