This game is pretty much along those same lines. You go along a designated track (which you go left and right on), shoot at bad guys (who shoot back, of course), and have to dodge obstacles (like rolling barrels, etc.).

It's very simple, but I enjoy it. Sometimes simple is good. :icon_mrgreen:

Agreed. Simple can be good!

Similar, except the cactus didn't have guns, they just stood between you and the bad guys and sometimes a covered wagon. You could shoot the catcus to get them out of your way.

Sounds neat! I like old-style games; in some ways, I think they had more character than the new ones. Not sure why. Maybe the new ones are just too overdone. Trying too hard, perhaps?

I agree with that! So many of the newer games try way to hard to be overly complex and reach new this and that. The older games tended to be more straight forward and I liked that.

Yes, exactly.

Nostalgia or not, I look back at older things and notice how they seemed to be better...The funny thing is, I think it's many times true.

The purple martins have been back for a few days, they surely are a cheerful bunch of singer, & make much more sense that what today's youth listen to.

:clapping: I would much prefer to listen to the birds sing than what the youth blast out of their car stereos!

I would, too, and I am youth. So much of what people listen to today is just awful!
